No Trolling! Most of the handguns I'll probably keep. The long rifles and shotguns are cool, but I would probably never shoot. Might part ways with most of those.

Inherited Arsenal. Who in BR to take it to?
Posted by musicman1026 on 5/7/26 at 10:03 am
I've recently inherited about 30 firearms from my family. I've done as much research as I can to find out what some of these pieces are, but I'm not confident on the results. Does anyone have a "go to" business in the BR area that would appraise/buy/auction these pieces?
There are several of them I'd like to keep, but also several I would never shoot and would be interested in selling/auctioning them.
Here are some pictures of some of the cool pieces:

Quite the list of accolades and achievements. Good call.
Most Accomplished LSU Athlete of All Time

Who would you consider the greatest and most accomplished LSU athlete of all time?
My short list would be (in no particular order)
Shaq - NBA Championships 00',01',02',06', Multiple Finals MVP, League MVP in 00', Rookie of the Year in 93, Olympic Gold Medalist, and countless other accolades.
Burrow - Multiple awards in college including 19' National Championship & 19' Heisman Trophy, Multiple Pro-bowls, & led the Bengals to a Super Bowl appearance early in his pro career.
Maravich - NCAA Scoring Leader, College Player of the Year 70', NBA Scoring Champ 77', and Multiple All-Star Selections
Skenes - National Pitcher of the Year in 23', NCAA Championship & MVP 23', NL Rookie of the Year 24', Multiple All-Star Selections, and finally the NL Cy Young Award 25'.
Paul Skenes is very quickly heading to the top of the list, if he isn't there already and what is so impressive is that he just completed his second year in his professional career.
Who is at the top of the list for you?

I had a terrible picture with my Samsung TV when using the downloaded YouTube TV app. I plugged in my 4k Apple TV and started streaming through it and it was significantly better.
I'm guessing (in my case) the tv just doesn't have the computing power to stream in HD constantly.

Emergency fund savings of 2k. The wife is paying into state retirement and I have about $25,000 in my simple IRA.

Thanks! We are certainly excited. My wife is a music teacher so private lessons are certainly a possibility. Haven't thought about online music lessons. I'm sure there is an opportunity there.

Half of it is medical bills from the pregnancy from last year. The other half is crap I shouldn't have bought but at least it's 0% interest til next year.
I don't have much savings. Just an emergency fund of about 2k
