re: Who knew the real estate prices in Alaska were so high

like $1,000 a year. Not worth it.
Alaska. Moved up here and love it. Raise in Louisiana for 40 years but won't be back. Alaska has everything outdoors that Louisiana has and oh so much more. As long as you don't live in Anchorage, no one will bother you.
Dr. Joseph is horrible. Was sent to him from one of his partner neurologist who told us to ask him a specific question. He walked in sat down at a desk and began reviewing notes from the partner. Never looked at my child and said we have to do surgery in the morning. I then asked the question that his partner told me to ask. He said i didn't really look at that and why are you questioning my decision. We got up, walked out and never looked back. Thank God. Never had to have surgery and child is now happy healthy adult.

I would say it depends on what is being treated. I needed one and a pediatric neurosurgeon and I chose to go to New York Long Island Medical Center to see a Dr Bolognesse after seeing a horrible neurosurgeon in BR

Central BBQ Downtown is the best. Corkys has better BBQ beans but Central's BBQ meats are the best

I found a LSU basball cap in a garbage dump in Bethel, Alaska. So yeah. Look up where this is and you will be amazed.

It works in Alaska. NP's are stand alone providers. I guess since many areas are so remote, they use NP's and PA's alot.

That's because you did. No offense, and I enjoyed your story, but why would you do this to your son? For the rest of his life he's going to have to explain over and over and over how to spell his name and correct people for next 70 years
Haydn is an excellent, erudite name. I dig it. I assume you are a pianist, or a fan of classical piano. Haydn was a giant.
Haydn is correct. Crack a book. Just kidding. He will have to correct people. Guess that's why he like to go by Porkchop.

Thanks for all the support. My son thought it was really cool to see everyone commenting on his story and for the prayers and encouragement. Tigers all the way. And from what we have seen at St Judes, we are now permanently donating to them. That is a great organization that helps so many families.

Every one tells us we forgot the "e" in Haydn.

The Dr is way cool. He said after the surgery that with that pre surgery comment, you were lucky to come out with an arm. Son came through surgery great. Dr said surgery went better than expected. Of course it did, he is a TIGER!!
Les Miles is a great Man!

So my teenage son was about to have surgery to remove most of his humerus and deltoid muscle. His surgeon is a big Alabama fan. As they are putting my son to sleep and tell him to count backwards from 10 to 1, he looks at Dr and says GEAUX TIGERS. This is in Memphis TN at St Judes. Somehow, through friends, this story makes it to LSU and Les Miles. 2 weeks after surgery my son gets a letter from Les, an autographed picture and a hat. Les actually spelled his first name Haydn correctly (a big deal to my son). And his message was "Porkchop"(his nickname) Fight like a TIGER. Little things like this go unknown to the public. Say what you want about his coaching ability. But in the bigger, picture Les is a good man and a great Tiger. So I say to my son WARRIOR UP and FIGHT LIKE A TIGER!!
I worked in Alexandria and made 43/hr. I now work in Alaska and make over 190,000. Look up Hudson staffing out of Tenn. They pay very well.
re: SEC Network Channel Finder | Type in your zip code and carrier

I moved to Bethel Alaska. To my surprise when I woke up the SEC network was on channel 150. GCI is the cable carrier. I was one happy guy getting this.
Glad we don't have to play La Tech.
