Currently getting hammered by barnyard grass. Bought some 18.92% quniclorac concentrate to put down. Going to give it a shot. LSU AG says not to apply to St. Aug. The weed is not currently in the St Aug portion of my yard, only growing in newly planted bermuda.

Quinclorac performs much better if applied before a good rainfall (no sooner than 6-8 hrs out for rain fastness) as maximum soil moisture is needed for optimum control. Also, addition of a methylated seed oil (MSO) at 1% adjuvant optimizes performance as well. Better when barnyardgrass only as a couple of tillers or younger. If you have a high population may have to retreat in about 3 wks.

It is very good on barnyard grass, but make sure that the barnyard grass is actively growing. I would wet it down really really good a couple days prior to treating.
