Exactly what can we get for Zion in a trade? Not entirely sure, obviously. However, looking at the assets that Orlando gave up to acquire Bane, which are listed below:

-#16 overall this year
-2026 unprotected 1st
-2028 unprotected 1st
-2029 protected 1st (top 2)
-2030 unprotected 1st
-KCP
-Cole Anthony

One would think that Zion could fetch something similar.

Bane's signed a 5 year $207 million dollar contract in 2023, while Zion signed his 5 year $197 million dollar deal in 2022. But after this season Zion's last two remaining years on his deal are non guaranteed.

Obviously, the biggest thing hindering Zion is his availability. But Bane has missed roughly ~17 games per year prior to this season. So he's not an iron man.

If you look past the injuries Zion's been to two all-star games (which really doesn't mean all that much), puts up better numbers, has more star power, cheaper contract of which after this season is non-guaranteed and lastly and most importantly has been a part of this dysfunctional sad sack of shite franchise his whole career.

Ultimately, I think a few teams would be willing to gamble that under better circumstances (not this Mickey Mouse organization) Zion could thrive.

Therefore, my guess we could get something in the ballpark of the Bane trade.
Sucks about the loss last night, but again it was a joy watching Queen. His first quarter performance was amazing and he's doing this in only his 16th game while missing all of the preseason.

Predict Queen's Trajectory

It's bleak times, however if not for both Queen and Fears I likely wouldn't tune into most games.

Regarding Queen, he's shown flashes of brilliance and has me truly excited dreaming of the player he could ultimately become.

So I wanted to know how others view him and what do you think his final form will look like? What player/players does he comp to and what type of stats do you think he'll average?

And please no one bring up the acquisitional cost, we all know and we all know it was a shite trade.
That’s a good idea. To post location and type of antenna you’re able to catch the OTA channel.

Thanks.
Has anyone tried OTA in the Houma/Terrebonne area?

Thanks.
The first week of January our record was 24-14, putting us on pace for a 50+ win season. 49 wins this year would have been good enough for the number 3 seed in the West.

It’s actually pretty impressive we even achieved that 24-14 record. Below is the number of games each player missed of those 38 games.

BI- 25
Zion- 11
Herb- 12
Larry- 10

So the team was capable early on to sustain success even with so many games missed by important players. So if our top 3 have league average health I think that secures the Pels a top 4 seed for sure.
With the way BI has been playing, I think your 50 win assessment is the floor.

My opinion is like most, number 1 seed and likely the best record in the Association.

I also believe we would have made a WCF appearance.

Had Zion not sustained the hamstring injury, where do you see the Pels finishing the season? And what do you think their record would have been?

What if he doesn’t have the first setback with the hamstring? How many more games do we ultimately win?

Before his injury we were on pace for 50+ wins and the team was doing this with BI sidelined for the majority of the games.

It’s depressing to think what could have been.

I’m still hopeful that we make a little noise in the play-in/playoffs.

Guy sitting behind Joel and AD said in the JV clip ‘none of y’all want that smoke baw!’
Pels can be number 1 in the West tonight.

Saints at the bottom in NFC South.

What a time to be alive.

F the Lakers, btw.

Bet the Lakers in a 4 game parlay. The first 3 legs won and cashed out when the lakers were up by 8 because I knew they’d blow it. Tripled my money and got to savior this epic collapse.

F the Lakers.
It’s so refreshing to see a player actively boxing out.
Super proud to be a fan of this franchise.

Is it me or is CJ taking the air out of the ball a lot more these last few games than he has since he’s been here?

These possessions have little to no ball movement and tend to lead to difficult/bad shots late in the shot clock.
Jose was the only one I saw that didn’t die on the screen and I believe he only did that twice.

We blitzed him with an extra defender once late in the game, which forced it out of his hands. They didn’t score on that possession.
