For steaks in New Orleans I highly recommend Doris Metropolitan and La Boca. Ruth's Chris is great too, but its hard to beat the steaks from Doris and La Boca.
Magnalite Roaster

Just bought a vintage 13 qt Magnalite roaster primarily to make gumbo, etouffee, etc. I have heard various things about seasoning a magnalite pot before use. I'm familiar with cast iron and the seasoning process. Is this necessary or recommended with aluminum?
