This is becoming ridiculous. Open everything back up
Posted by Emperor Burrow on 4/1/20 at 1:05 pm
Okay this BS has gone on long enough. I can't go to the gym, watch sports or go out to bars on the weekend. My stocks are tanking and I have to work from home. For what I ask you? What are we saving with all these sacrifices? Whatever it is isn't worth it. Especially since they are talking about cancelling CFB
What would be the consequences of opening everything up tomorrow?

And do the negative outweigh the positive?

I have not and that's a good idea.
I was averaging 3500 calories burned a week from cardio.

Intermittent Fasting recommendation for COVID and Health
Posted by Emperor Burrow on 3/31/20 at 12:07 pm
For anyone worried about gaining weight or not being able to excercise like normal I highly recommend intermitent fasting. I have been intermittent fasting since August and have gone from 193 to 166.
Here is what I do:
Monday-Friday eat once a day. I'll eat dinner around 6 and eat whatever I want.
Sat-Sun I fast for 12-15 hours but pretty much eat a small lunch and big dinner. I drink on Fridays and Saturdays.
Highly recommended!

Help with maintaining cardio and weight with intermittent fasting-COVID

Hello all I am new to this board and would like your advice on a couple of things.
I returned from an overseas trip last August and was:
33 years old
5'9
192 pounds.
I was overweight and decided to start intermittent fasting and increase my training regimen.
I am currently:
33 years old
5'9
166 pounds.
So I have lost nearly 30 pounds and have gotten myself in great shape. I credit most of this to the intermittent fasting routine as I only eat once Monday-Friday and on the weekends fast for 12-15 hours a day.
My issue is that I have also been doing large amounts of cardio on the elliptical along with free weights for each upper body muscle group. I no longer have access to an elliptical and CAN NOT run outside due to a knee issue. I ran yesterday and only made it half a mile before my knee was in unbearable pain.
How can I maintain my weight in the mid 160's with only intermittent fasting? I do have a bowflex dumbbell that allows me to workout each muscle group. What kind of cardio can I do at home besides pushups, sit ups, and jump and jacks?
Thanks!

Exactly

I mean seriously people the first games are five months away... There is no way this virus is still a big deal 5 months away. Has there ever been a virus to cripple our society for over half a year? The games will be played and the fans will be in the stands. Not having a season would have way too many detrimental results vs playing it out as scheduled.
