I mean he never committed anywhere. I think it’s natural to consider different schools. He did the right thing and didn’t commit too soon. He might end up in the portal one day but that isn’t a reason why.

I would assume he’s been around LSU for awhile and wants to go somewhere else. Auburn has done a great job with DBs recently (including Roger McCreary who I think is CB2 this class) but it sure does hurt to lose a guy from your campus and potentially Rhym to them too.

Oh I agree. But I think the reason that some fans are okay with him still being employed is that he has 2 sons that are very good football players. If they go elsewhere then the fans will want him gone even more than they already do.

I think it would be more of a people want him gone anyway so if his sons aren’t coming here then what’s the point of him still being at LSU. I don’t know enough about Verge to comment on that but that’s the vibe I get.

100%. If Austin goes to Auburn I can assume that Auburn’s chances for the LB next year increase as well.

Just got a CB to Auburn from an Auburn insider with a confidence of 6. Would suck.
I agree. Ensminger made Joe Burrow a less accurate Danny Etling in 2018. Even in the UCF game I think it was just the talent showing through against a terrible defense, not something E did.
Like someone else said, all of the 2019 offensive roster and E was there in the very average 2018 offense. They didn’t just magically become amazing because of “experience”
It’s an early mock draft. Saying it’s not credible for having Emory Jones (who has great arm talent and athleticism) when no one knows what will happen is really dumb. That’s why it’s a mock draft. No one is right.
you can keep saying Smart was disappointing but he had the second best Assist/TO ratio among starting PGs in the SEC (according to one of the ESPN commentators on one of the last games of the year) and I fact checked myself and he had 70 TOs while most had almost 100. He also shot 43% from 3 since Vandy. But okay.
Saw it was about 21 million per year. Good for Teddy.

I think Happ will look more like his rookie year. He was good in limited ABs. Schwarber is coming off a good year, KB was great, Rizzo is Rizzo and Baez is Baez. When J-Hey was not batting leadoff he was really really good. Contreras is one of the best bats behind the plate. Overall this teams walks a lot and hits a lot of HRs which is a good formula for a good offense. Starters are kinda eh but a lot of veterans. Darvish was fantastic in the 2nd half. Hendricks was good. Bullpen is iffy but I think Kimbrel will come back. Compete for NLC probably end up in WC game.
Logan, Farrell, Shelvin, Ika, Roy(unless he gets down to 270 or so), Taylor, Gaye(maybe), Evans, anyone over 285 or so would play DT. Edges (DE) would include Chaisson(if back but probably not), Moore, Anthony, Thornton(more hybrid OLB but could play Edge just needs more weight), Ojulari (same as Thornton just needs to gain weight), Cherry. Mike Williams is a tweener and Gaye probably is too. That’s all I can think of, but I would say we are better suited for a 3-4 as of today.

Edit: also Webb at edge
Burrows improvement was absolutely remarkable, mainly the connection he formed with the rest of the offense. However, you don’t just go from 16 TDs to 60 and 3000 yards to 5600in a season without something else other than that. Brady’s additions to the offense, which were mainly Saints concepts with a spread look and creative and more importantly timely RPOs that were more unique than typical RPOs, put this team over the edge, and I don’t think we run the table without Brady. Hopefully Munoz is hired because he should be the closest thing mixed with Ensminger.
He put a spread twist on Sean Peyton’s scheme and also added creative RPOs which resulted in an offense that is impossible to stop. He’s extremely creative but in a more subtle way because everything is ran so crisp.
Joe Brady just made Joe Burrow a lot of $
With the nickel being an extremely valuable player on every defense in CFB now and LSU doesn’t have a clear nickel on roster (Vincent struggled, Lorando Johnson not signed, Greene flipped, maybe Mo Hampton but he’s been good at safety) I think Ryan would be best fit there.
Jeff Okudah (Ohio State) will be a top 5 pick- PFF has him slated to the Lions at 3
Some guys in the Saints draft range will be
Paulsen Adebo- Stanford
Kristian Fulton- LSU
Jaylon Johnson- Utah
Trevon Diggs- Alabama
CJ Henderson- Florida
You have started a thread on Drennan before fairly recently. He is a pretty heavy Kentucky lean. I’ve seen you make this exact post as a reply before and I don’t know why you keep bringing the second guy up. I looked up the Ohio prospects on 247 and wasn’t even listed (out of 146 I believe) and just in case checked 2021 and he wasn’t there. And then I googled his name with 247 and the only thing that came up was a message board. He doesn’t have a profile. Some steals fly under the radar but not that low. Sorry if you have a personal connection but he’s not getting an LSU offer.
I graduated from Denham recently and loved it. I’m not a school spirit type of person and never attended school events but found myself being very prideful of my school. For the dude complaining about the ACT preparation they offer multiple helpful ACT tutoring sessions and even offer and ACT course. I got the maximum amount for my scholarship and in the last 2 years Denham has sent at least 4 kids that I know of to Ivy League schools or schools similar to that. The new principal is very education oriented and I know him personally, he’s an excellent person and principal. Don’t just blow off Denham because it’s a public school. It’s one of the better public schools out there.
