Flew to Kathmandu Nepal one way (I wasn't sure when I would be finished and ready to come back, so I didn't buy round trip) to complete the Everest Base Camp trek. Spent 12 days on the trek, 7 total days in the capital.

Being proud of the USA isn't a catch all definition of being a nationalist. Identifying with your own nationality doesn't make you "scum". Neither of those things also assume the country is perfect nor overlooks its frick ups.
