Racist?
Alabama and it isn't even close.

I was listening to some guy on Finebaum talk about it and he explained it perfectly. Something like this:

"Every SEC school has their fans that are mouth-breathing knuckledraggers. For most schools it's like 20%. With Alabama, that number is closer to 90%."

Although, I am a die hard LSU fan and I see why we're hated, because I'm pretty sure I hate most LSU fans.

Arkansas wasn't bad until they got Petrino and started getting really good. Oh man, did they get cocky quick. It was awesome to see them taken down a peg or ten last year.
I'm also not into Christian music, but In The Lord's Arms by Ben Harper is an all-time favorite.

Haha!! That's incredible.
Not me. I'm just telling you what I heard. My source.......you guessed it:

Frank Stallone.

Saban to Happy Valley in 2016?

Pretty much a done deal. I hear Terry is already looking at houses.

Nirvana was good, yes. But, the greatest thing ever? No.

For grunge, I think Soundgarden and Alice in Chains are way, way better.
I don't think I hate Nickelback as much as I would hate hanging out with people who like Nickelback. I know they exist, but I don't know any, thank God.

Do you honestly think the top priority of this coach and his staff is to steer kids to Alabama? Come the frick on. Let the kid do what he wants. If he wants to go to Alabama, then so be it. It's his life, not yours. you weirdo fricks

Should be posted at the top of the Recruiting Board.

That is rad to the bone.

Robert Randolph blows my mind every time. Other than that:

2003 - David Byrne with the Tosca String Orchestra. Ryman

2006 - Radiohead - Bonnaroo

2000 - Metallica - Texas Stadium

2003 - Tool - UNO Lakefront

2001(2?) - the first time I saw Galactic at Tips

I remember those the most, but I've been to hundreds. Some of the smallest are the most fun. Derek Trucks did a free show in Nashville in 2004 that was one of the better shows I've seen.

Fox News is on in my break room at work all day and the number/quality of gold brokerage commercials that panders to the fear of old people is absolutely hilarious.
I stand corrected. Would it be correct in assuming that GLB was a large reason for the financial meltdown in 08? Seems like if it was just IB selling crappy derivatives then many CB would still be alive today.

I never understood why anyone on the buy side used IB research analysts. Maybe there is more separation, but the fact remains that research and IB still operate under the same roof. I remember a couple of years ago I was taking a look at the daily reports from a pretty well known energy shop and there was a total of zero, ZERO, sell-rated equities. In 2009.

Are there any respectable stand-alone research shops that large funds use? I have to admit, I (obviously) am a little rusty on the topic.
Research analysts are rarely short on anything because the other side of their firm is trying to land the investment banking business from the companies they are analyzing.

It's a huge conflict of interests, and one you can thank the Gramm-Leach Bliley Act for.

I'd really like to see a breakdown of how much the whiners on here have contributed to LSU in the last year--TAF, LSU foundation, whatever. Not much, I'm willing to bet. I'd go out on a limb and say a lot of them wouldn't know how to get to Tiger Stadium if you dropped them at the North Gate of campus.

This is absolutely correct. The same people who think that we can get any coach we want at any time because "who wouldn't want to coach LSU?!?!?!"

Morons. It's easy to get sucked into the world of the rant when you read it a lot, and believe that most fans think this way. None of my friends (that graduated from LSU) think this way.

These are Wal-Mart fans that hopped on around 2003. They are serial complainers and nothing more. They have zero problem booing 18-22 kids that accomplished more in those 4 years than they ever will. Les Miles is better at any part of his job than they will ever be at anything, but they have the comfort of the internet's anonymity that that allows them to be a tough guy and demand something from the best coach LSU has ever had.

You people need to get away from my team because you are a cancer, not Les Miles. I don't want you around and I promise you the team doesn't want you around. We are an elite program and one man has been at the helm, while we had an undefeated season and will be a preseason #1 team.

It was one game. He sh*t the bed. Get over it or please stop calling yourself a fan and call yourself what you really are: a brat.

Rank in order of awesomeness

The Wire, The Walking Dead, Breaking Bad, Family Matters
I think we all knew Freak and Landry would come in and play. ODB was a nice surprise that no one really saw coming this quickly, since we first found out how good he was during camp.

Who will be the next group to play immediately and make significant contributions from c/o 2012?
