Lindsey Graham accused Pompeo and Mattis of covering up the Khashoggi murder today
Posted by RobertMueller on 12/4/18 at 9:32 pm
Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) spoke to reporters after a briefing with CIA Director Gina Haspel about intelligence gathered on the death of journalist Jamal Khashoggi.
on Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman:
"I think he is crazy. I think he is dangerous."
"The brutality of this murder is beyond my sharing it with you. It was one of the most brutal acts one could imagine, and it says a lot about him as a person, and everybody is watching us."
on Pompeo and Mattis denying that MBS was complicit so as not to risk American arm sales to Saudi Arabia:
"Secretary Pompeo and Mattis are following the lead of the president, there's not a smoking gun theres a smoking saw. You have to be willfully blind not to come to the conclusion that this was organized and orchestrated by people under the command of MBS ... It is zero chance, ZERO, that this happened in such an organized fashion without the Crown Prince."
"As to Pompeo and Mattis; I have great respect for them, I would imagine that if they were in a Democratic administration, I would be all over them for being in the pocket of Saudi Arabia, but since I have such respect for them, I would assume they are being good soldiers ... I would really question someones judgement if they couldn't figure this out ... I think the reason they don't draw the conclusion that he's complicit is because the administration doesn't want to go down that road, not because there's not evidence to suggest he's complicit."

The attorneys general of the District of Columbia and Maryland plan to file subpoenas seeking records from the Trump Organization, the Internal Revenue Service and dozens of other entities in their lawsuit accusing Donald Trump of profiting off the presidency.
The Maryland attorney general’s office confirmed the subpoena details to The Associated Press as they were being prepared on Tuesday.
Their case alleges that foreign and domestic government spending at Trump’s Washington, D.C., hotel amounts to gifts to the president in violation of the U.S. Constitution’s emoluments clause.
what about this? is this a political witch hunt too?
