Trolling Rattle Traps or Swim baits

Posted by LSUCountry on 7/28/20 at 7:54 am
After catching a limit of specks a few weeks ago, I had the unfortunate experience of a faulty oil sensor and broken oil pump at the same time. I took the time to rewire and do updates on the boat, while I finished up the new powerhead.

I now have to go through the break-in period but my kids are adamant about fishing this weekend. I hope to put some hours on the engine and let them do some easy trolling. Is anyone doing any trolling in or around Hopedale / Shell Beach? If not I might just run the Rigolets and let them catch some reds at a few cuts.

Thanks in advance!
I used the granular form of Scott's Fungus Control. I originally thought my issue was brown patch.
I am having a similar issue with the St. Aug in my back yard. I initially thought it was fungus so I treated with a granular application. Although I saw some improvement, it wasnt much. I then noticed the chewed blades so I sprayed with Talstar 2 days ago. I noticed a ton of moths during that application, so I think I have a combination of a fungus and sodworms.

My question is, how often can I apply the Talstar and the fungicide? Should I do anything to help the grass grow in the places that had the damage?

Thanks for the help in advance!

I think we decided to go on a Conservation Goose hunt in Arkansas. Anyone used an outfitter they like? Thanks again.

February bachelor trip

I need a recommendation for a bachelor trip in February of next year. The entire group likes to hunt so I figured we could try a conservation goose hunt in Arkansas. Does anyone have any recommendations for outfitters in that area? I know that time of year is hit or miss but hopefully we can find an outfitter with property further north if the birds aren't in Arkansas yet. If not, I am open to suggestions for a different trip that time of year. Thanks in advance!
I appreciate all the information. I will start doing my research. Happy New Year!
I absolutely appreciate this response. I hope paying for a slightly better artist keeps me having this type of cartoon on my body.
Ladyland does a good job, as well as tattooagogo. I'm just looking for some other recommendations.
I will probably end up going out of the city for my next piece to continue my trashy streak.

Best tattoo artist in Nola area

So I know most of y'all think tattoos are trashy, but I'm hoping to find some information. I have a few tattoos, but I'm looking for a new artist to start on my new piece. Problem is that it's more of a realistic picture type and less of the artist type I already have. Does anyone have a go to, or highly recommended person they trust. Money isn't an issue, I'll pay anything for it to be right as it will be on my body forever. Thanks in advance and Happy New Year!

A few friends and I are looking at making a guided trip to kill some geese. Anyone have any recommendations on who to use? We are looking to go to either Arkansas or Missouri towards the end of February. Sees like a lot of fun and a chance to bring home some birds. Thanks in advance for the information .
This is extremely cool. I started the thread a few days ago and found some good leads. Congrats on finding a good litter. Let us know what you decide.

Thank everyone for replying. I have contacted a few of the recommended kennels and am waiting on call backs. There sure are a lot of options out there. Thanks again and any other information is greatly appreciated

That's tough man. Dogs are a lot of work but are such good companions. My little girl is about to be 2 and since she was born that dog was her best friend. It's true though, they take a lot of time and work. It is pretty awesome when you have a good dog.

Looking for a lab puppy

A few weeks ago my world was flipped upside down when my dog unexpectedly passed away. I had Shelby for 10 years and she was truly a part of our family. She was the best dog and the definition of man's best friend. She was healthy, active, and always taking care of my family and me. An undiagnosed benign tumor ruptured during the night. We rushed her to the vet immediately but she passed as the vet tried to stop the bleeding. My wife, daughter, and I are still struggling to accept it but we are glad she didn’t suffer.
As much as my heart still hurts, I can't fathom being without another dog. I have a second child coming in March and want to have a trained pup by then. I know finding the right puppy takes a long time so I figured I need to start. It has been a while since I have looked for another dog and I am a little overwhelmed.
I know I want an English yellow Labrador female but don’t know where to start looking. I do hunt and would prefer one with a retrieving background. Does anyone have any references or dealing with any l breeders in the New Orleans area? I don’t mind traveling to get the right dog and price really isn’t an issue. Anyone with any leads or information of a litter ready for around December would be greatly appreciated.
Do me a favor and love on your dogs as much as you can. It truly is an injustice they are here for such a short time. Thanks again and God Bless.
Most retarded thing I've heard today, and I'm in birmingham for a Bama wedding. Congrats...
I pray this is not true...if it is, everyone associated would burn
