I am looking to take the wife out on a mid-week date. I have it narrowed down to Brown Butter or Rue 127. Anyone got any experience with either? I have not been to either but heard good things about both. Thanks in advance!

To your question- Rue 127 is considerably better then Brown Butter.
Rue 127 is underrated, IMO. It belongs in the discussion with the Patois and La Petit Grocery's of the world. 2-3 tier NOLA status.
