Pardon me sir, but when hype is real it’s called confidence. CEO doesn’t have any. Growling “We comin” doesn’t prepare a team to win. Close your eyes and imagine Saban saying “we coming”. Didn’t happen during his time here. Hasn’t happened during his time there. He just prepares. And then let’s his teams play with confidence.
Preparation and Confidence 29 - Emotion and Hyperbole 0

CEO created the hype and embraced the emotional lead up to the game. He psychologically prepared his team for failure. He let the “next game” become “THE game.”
The baby got put to bed with a wet diaper and an empty stomach last night. Wouldn’t be surprised to see CEO and the Tigahs get beat two weeks in a row after this emotional fall from an imaginary mountain top. He didn’t have his team visualizing success - he had them dreaming of it. Big difference.
