Lodging recommendations in Curacao

Posted by PvilleBaw on 7/9/24 at 5:26 pm
My wife and I are going to Curaçao in September. We've already booked our flights. We would like to find somewhere to stay with a private beach, easy access to Willemstad, and she prefers a bathtub. We probably will not stay at an all inclusive resort. Any recommendations?
Which Four Roses recipe is your Single Barrel Barrel Strength?
Have you tried Doerr Furniture on Elysian Fields? We just bought 2 leather chairs from their sample sale. Nice quality leather at great prices

I own 4 now. Three are 12 gauge and one is a 20 gauge. The one I hunt with has the original Advantage camo finish and I've had the SureCycle system installed. It is very reliable and I shoot it well. The other 2 12 gauge models are "Walmart" 390's that I bought for my 2 sons before they were born. They both turned out left-handed and shoot right handed shotguns.
I remembered it from 10th grade biology. I guess I learned something.
I had a coworker that claimed that chickens urinated through their skin. He would say, "Have you ever seen a chicken pee?".

I never tried to explain that in birds, both types of waste are collected in the cloaca and expelled together.

We enjoyed the tapas and sangria at Cerveceria Catalana on Carrer Mallorca 236 in Barcelona. The only thing is they don't take reservations and there is usually a line. The quality is excellent and the prices are very affordable.

Blue Run High Rye bourbon is good and can be found around $85 to $100.

Albertson's Highland at Airline near Prairieville had them Sunday afternoon.
I lived in Hatcher (Room 101) Fall of '89 and Spring of '90. We had AC.
I got my MM puzzle last week. I have received Maker's socks and an ornament in past years.
Antiquetiger, did you work with this person at your current company or previously in your career?

Never mind. I heard the name tonight. I knew him for a long time too. Really good operator.

Did this bourbon show up at the BR Costco yet? I bought a bottle of the small batch before Ida hit. It wasn't bad for $20 a liter.

Seafood stuffed jalapenos?

Posted by PvilleBaw on 10/21/21 at 12:57 am
My family used to frequent Val's Marina before it was shut down. One item I remember enjoying there was the seafood stuffed jalapeno appetizer. Which BR or Ascension restaurants offer a similar stuffed pepper?
I have a 1915-built Model 12 (marked Model 1912) 16 gauge with a solid rib. I still hunt squirrels and doves with it. I bought some bismuth #5's and made a duck hunt with it for the first time since steel shot was mandated in LA. I've had it since the mid-80's and still love it.

Mack's Prairie Wings used to sell them. However, you would probably have to buy a case.

I have the same watch and I wear it almost all the time. I bought mine at an AD in April 2017. I can't think of anything to complain about. Is the one you're looking at new? If so, it should have a 5 year Omega warranty.

I know where the 2nd one came from. "D.B" would approve.
