re: New Porsche Dealership New Orleans

Just built one that looks like it here in San Antonio. Nice enough but the Ferrari and Lambo dealerships look nicer. Not buying anything from any of them so doesn't matter much I guess.
Bio Bidet BB-600 is great. Little pricey (got it as a gift) but seat warmer, warm water air drier and more. Others do the job but you get what you pay for and this is a princely version!

Don’t know how the unwashed masses live.
We had two of them. First one sucked, found another German exchange student and they were both shitheads. Never said goodbye to him amd we never heard from him again.

Got a call to keep another for a week while his host family finished a vacation. He stayed a year. He was awesome and we’ve been to Germany several times to see him.

It is a bit of a luck of the draw situation.
Dealt with it pretty recently also. My vet said when they lose quality of life he is good with it. Mine was starting to have trouble standing some and getting up a step in the house and to the backyard.

Would run some days but clearly hurting a good bit. I just figured he should go when he couldn’t do the things he loved. Sort of like I would I want to go. Prayers for you and your dog.
Just put down my GSP last Tuesday. He was getting worse and was old enough it wasn’t worth trying wheels. He had periodic issues but the last 3 months was just really going downhill. I had to help him stand and go up a step in and out of the house by the end.

Good luck to you and your pup!
Thanks for the input. I don’t want to record what I sound like now. Gonna be a while before any of it should be memorialized.
Thanks for the input

It is the squier strat. I replaced the nut and string trees. I need to lower the action some and replace pickups and electronics. I keep battling with how much money is it worth putting in before I just get a better guitar. It does sound pretty good and right now the hands playing it are still the weak link.
I started trying to learn again early this year. I had a cheap Squier guitar and it is OK but didn't love it. I looked on Reverb for quite a while and kept talking myself out of it. When I saw this one I had to have it...

2000 Epiphone (Korean made) with some Seymour Duncan Slash pickups. It sounds and plays so much better than my cheap one and it makes it a lot easier to want to practice each day. The biggest difference has been lower action so it doesn't hurt as much to play.

The strings are lighter guage on this one and I am going to stick with lighter strings also. I've heard lots of opinions on not going too far down but am leaning towards 8's or 9's.

Also, coated or not coated? I know there is a benefit to the strings lasting a little longer but figured I would ask for some input on what strings you use and why...

U-Haul is garbage. Maybe for local moves. Last time I used them I reserved a diesel to get through mountains heading into CA. Got a gasoline truck that broke down twice between NOLA and San Diego. Went about 10 miles an hour up the hills in CA. Used Penske and trucks are new, nice and all diesel trucks. Didn’t cost much more to rent and very worth it.

U-Haul always seemed like a crap shoot if you got something nice to drive or a beaten up truck

re: San Diego or San Fran

Lived in San Diego for a long time and loved it. Prefer it over San Francisco but both are cool for their own reasons.

We used to go to Huntington Beach for weekend getaways some as well. Close to Disney etc. Weather is better in San Diego but San Francisco will be nice this time of year.

Didn’t like the way the back of her elbows looked. Can’t tell you what as wrong but it just made me uneasy...

Another that wrote me a note (high school before the internet...) letting me know it was our 6 month adversary. She wasn’t hot enough to be that dumb. That was the final straw of her being too dumb to date.

re: Ever have jury duty?

Got out of it a bunch of times but this last one they kept all but a few people.

Interesting to do it but took 3 weeks.

Kidnapping and sexual assault of two girls. Guy was caught in their apartment by the cops. Didn't seem like it needed to be tried but I guess the DA didn't offer him any deal. Ended up with three life sentences plus 60 years. Still mad I couldn't get the 4th life sentence. Sat down and one juror said he couldn't go more than 20 yrs total because he believed in redemption. Took a little time but got him to 3 life and 60 yrs. once he was there another guy decided he wanted the fourth life term and that was a deal breaker. Swayed back and forth a bit but best sales job ever to get those two to agree.

At sentencing they brought out evidence he tried to do the same thing several yrs before in his small hometown but wasn't prosecuted. He needs t not be on the streets for a long time..

Interesting stuff

So I saw coach stud at Seaworld yesterday

I was going to ask him to confirm Cameron as the new O.C.. Thought about and decided to not to. Did I miss a chance at a great story to tell for the rest of my life?

I thought about it. We are having people over for the game and some are going to leave early. I think I am going to save them for another weekend and pick something else.

Thanks for the advice

I forgot to soak my red beans last night. Can I quick boil them or should I pick something else to make?

I love it being out of state. I get the Tigervision games. I like it because I can spend Saturday morning watching tons of different games while I wait on LSU. It's also the only way that I get the early SEC game (Used to be JP). It is a great way to see a lot of football. It was 115 dollars until the 4th and then it goes up. Cable company screwed up something on my order and gave it to me for $50.
Look at the D40 body from Nikon and I just got the Tamron 18-270 lens. I have been very happy with it. I already had a 18-55 and 55-200 lens but have loved having one lens that lets me do everything. I would recommend getting a flash for this lens as it is a big lens and you can get some shadowing in the picture with the built in flash.

This is a great site for learning more as well [link=(Link)]www.kenrockwell.com[/link]
Maybe he just drove a long way to buy a book on an embarassing problem or porn without being recongnized. Way to ruin that.
