Go see Dr Culicchia in New Orleans. Interviewed him, Scrantz and another neurosurgeon on Northshore. Saw him last and glad we found him. His approach was more sound.

if you go public school, madisonville schools up until junior high are really good. after that it gets trashy.

entire city of mandeville reminds me of BR catholic school parents who are always trying to compete with each other, the Joneses

traffic is really not that bad except for the people who can't cross over the tchefuncta river on I12 without stopping to take pictures

plenty of mediocre chain restaurants for all the fattys to come from surrounding country areas to eat at; there are good high end restaurants but no good every day restaurants; only one decent sushi restaurant but it has terrible atomosphere

if you are moving from any place that has life prepared to be bored

3 years in from baton rouge (not saying BR was the life of the party) and bored as hell but will not move until the kids finish school. can't beat tuition as NO and BR private schools are twice as much at high school level
