I want to connect with people that may have lost their seats due to construction.
Posted by GeauxldenGirl on 3/19/24 at 12:09 pm
So here goes! I spent last week trying to find a family I know had lost their seats when they built the new escalators in our corner of the Superdome. After being unable to get it figured out directly with the Saints, I posted all over Facebook with the details I had and YES someone reached out with their identity. I was able to connect with them but they aren't able to take me up on my offer to get them back to our easily accessible cheapest but somehow the best seats in the house. This journey is a public post on my personal FB page if you are interested in the story.

I have 10 in section 608 & 607, have been a season ticket holder since 2006. 4 of which are coming open because our friends are moving to Massachusetts. SO MANY seats were removed last season and many more are being removed right now in the opposite corner since they are building the same escalators there. Like I said, we have inexpensive seats and I know that many that are being moved won't be able to afford what is available, I know I couldn't.
IF you are in this predicament, PLEASE reach out. Details can be seen on that post on FB. It's not going to hurt me to drop these seats off my account, but I am in a unique position to make people that may be very disappointed with the loss of their seats, so why not put it out there before I drop them. Plus... I really want to get other Saints Fans in these seats... not... opposing fans.
If you are not on FB and are unable to see my profile, I have uploaded screenshots in a post on my Blog.

No kayak, just looking for a quiet sandbar to take my little boy too from time to time and do some catch and release. Not ready to take him out on the boat yet and Frenchtown Rd is hit or miss with regards to quiet. If the offer is still good lmk!
re: What is the "Geaux Game"?

An reply email from the Athletic Office:
“Geaux Game is for indicating the local flavor of this game. Both schools use Geaux and it’s a community game so that is indicating the Geaux Game for the Southern game.
Championship Day will be celebrating our national championship and SEC championship teams from last seasons at that game.
Please let us know if you have any questions or if there is anything we can further assist you with.“

What is the "Geaux Game"?

I noticed that the schedule has the home game against Southern marked as the "Geaux Game", is that the replacement terminology for "Gold Game" where we're supposed to all clad yellow? Or something else?
There's also a Champions Day for the Mississippi State game. Any details on that? I'd like to not miss something special if there's something special going on.
PS. This is my first post in quite some time, apologies in advance because it's pretty trivial but I still want to know.

Panorama of Tiger Stadium - End of 1st Quarter
Take a look around and see. There is indeed a LOT of red (especially upper east which basically belonged to them) but their fans were also wearing just as much black, white and grey as the red that stands out. In short, they bought up a lot of tickets. I was disappointed to see that but figured it would be the case because of the low frequency they come to TS, combined with their high ranking.

I used to have an account when I was a student and avoiding working on projects was priority #1, but my LSU.edu email address expired some time ago and Terrance Donnels also got busy with life and started slacking a lil bit on his awesome gifs so...

Wow... three pages of responses and only a couple of them are actually relative to your question. "Don't move back, there are too many unhelpful a**hats like me that live there!" :banghead:
You should just ask your brother-in-law what our latest speeds are and I can get you a better idea of what we pay for it next month when they apply the discount I called about last week.
