Couple things on the ep

1. Having them complete the surgery and go through the trouble of making sure it was in the pediatric wing would be a wild move.
2. People keep talking about Marlene may be a good person and Joel is not. Well, she promised her best friend to take care of her kid, but when we see Ellie’s backstory, she is in the FEDRA program. How would the leader of the firefly’s let the child she promised to protect go in with FEDRA? May have missed something so someone please let me know if so.
3. Insane move by the Firefly’s to just go all in with the brain surgery that will kill your one chance at a cure. At least try some blood related experiments first in case this method doesn’t work. And yes, I get it was said the disease infects the brain. Doesn’t mean you can’t try other options first.

Comment has nothing to do with what I said further proving your ignorance. My kids aren’t old enough for any sport, but if they want to play something then great. If they don’t, that’s fine too. But they’ll have a hobby and that hobby will cost money, which was the whole point of this thread in the beginning.

If you even played a sport growing up, are you saying you would take back that time you had with friends and making memories because your parents had to travel on weekends and spend all this money for something you never made a career with?

What’s the point of music lessons if your kid won’t sign with a label one day? What’s the point of cooking classes if they won’t open a restaurant one day? Why take art lessons if they won’t duct tape a banana to a wall one day for millions?

Of course there are overboard parents and ultimately the kid has to enjoy it, but the take to not let your kid do something unless they make a career out of it is beyond idiotic.
