Dickey's Barbecue Pit. Delivery buffet. Located in Covington but will deliver for $20 to Hammond...or you can pick it up. Call tonight or first thing in am and they should handle it.
The ac guy I use on the northshore is awesome. Very reasonable pricing and does great work. Let me know if you want his number.
breaded with italian bread crumbs is the way to go imo.
Rick's Catfish Cabin in Lee Road north of Covington is one of my favorites.

Looked like PP was just slapping Herbstreit upside the head.

Does it concern anyone?

I can't believe that no one has mentioned this yet, since everything else has been scrutinized. On our touchdown celebration jumpin booty bumps our team is just not looking that great. I mean for all the talent that this team has it just seems that they are not performing their jumpin booty bumps like a seventh ranked team should. We had four of em last night and on every attempt one player jumped higher than the other or they didn't make good booty contact. Other teams do flyin chest bumps and I'm concerned that when we get into the meat of the SEC schedule that our booty bumps will be embarrassing. ULL didn't have a chance to do any, so I don't know how we compare with Sunbelt teams. I hope Coach Miles addresses this before it's too late...man I sure miss the old "you can't see me" wave that they used to do...

...I hope some of you realize how ridiculous your posts are.

re: Anyone tried?

Have not tried it yet but have heard positive reviews. Did make the mistake of trying Milano Italian Restaurant in Tyler Square - terrible. Should have tipped me off when I saw penne pasta on the menu spelled penny pasta. Oh well, live and learn. :yack:
It's on Hwy 190 across fron Dogpound Road where that funky looking building is being constructed.
Short & Warm

My Grandma told me she used to make this for the hobos back in the day. We also had it growing up:

Make a light brown roux, add water, salt & pepper. Throw in diced potatoes and a pack of hot dogs cut into bite sized pieces. Let cook until potatoes are tender, add can of green peas. Serve with french bread to sop up gravy.

It's printed on the back of the bag so it must be true!

Tried a new flavor today called Voodoo Gumbo. Supposedly an employee at the plant spilled a spice rack and someone tasted the concoction as it was being cleaned up and a new flavor was born. I thought they were pretty good.

I saw it last weekend. The church I attend made it a date night event at the local theater. I have to say I really enjoyed it. Some parts of it really hit home for me as my marriage was in a similar situation. I was in a cold sweat the first 10 minutes or so because I was missing the Tigers/MSU game on ESPN 2, but sacrifices have to be made...good thing we weren't playing Florida or Georgia.
