Again, I'm not asking other schools, I'm asking this board. What are the hard facts as to why you think he will not succeed?

Also, can you honestly say that no program has looked at him at all for an OC position?

First post...be gentle.

I have read the board for several weeks now. It really seems that very few are happy with this promotion.

I really don't understand why? In the stint that he had as interim, did he not do a good job? Regardless of opponent, did he not do a good job? Regardless if he didn't beat Alabama, did he not do a good job overall?

Im really just wanting to know the reasons why everyone feels that this is the worst decision. (I know there are more flashy hires but "Flash" is not a reason to hire someone.)

Not looking to start an argument, I'm just looking to get a legit answer to all the hate.
