Would be nice, but we're not heavy on good ball protection receivers. We are heavy on a diverse group of running backs. And our Quarterback seems a bit more concerned with his mustache than making good passes.
"If" should be considered the abbreviation of "Since we are ineffective at any other part of a normal college level offensive strategy and the most impotent passing game we've had since around 1997 (roughly) there's no other choice than"
Didn't say it was my first choice of a offense, but we really aren't doing that much else other than punting. At least put more of our talent on the field.

If we're sticking to running the ball

How about let's see something besides the I formation. Maybe some wishbone, Maryland I...

Let's use these running backs 3 at a time and screw with every other teams strategy.

I'd venture that its more to do with defensive superiority. When Wing pins back LSU's opponents they tend to stay back. LSU hasn't had the opportunity to gain as many yards because sadly they've had a short offensive field for a large # of possessions. 300+ yards a game working short field is ultra impressive. I'd also like to see the total distances Allen had to work with on his inside the 20 punts. Wing's been doing it from varying distances on less attempts.

Plus he got a TD called back for taunting a 2 time BCS champ. Did Allen do that?

They were pretty good though.

I read the numbers, I'm interested avg career length by conference.
sorry Karma, I can't listen at work and it's not carried on the ESPN i get on Sirius.

I'd love to be able to call in and join in discussion for TD.com radio, but it just can't happen unless i'm at home during lunch.

Holy shite! A white wide receiver in the NFL?

gotta be fast. Maybe he was on coke or speed when he ran his 40. it makes you faster.
Cowherd broke down the number of players by conference starting in the NFL today.

SEC no surprise was first.

However, I would like to see a study on the average career length of NFL players broken down by former collegiate conference.

For some reason I think the SEC players will have a smaller average # of years for career. Mainly due to the type of defenses SEC players have to go up against.

What do you think.

I'm posting on MSB because I'd like to see some info on other conferences as well
