In view of all the PC filth being dispensed in the government schools, just a question. Thank God mine are grown, but if I had school age kids now, I would definitely not leave their indoctrination to the public schools.

If I didn't live in a Red School District in a Red City in a Red County in a Red state, then I definitely would.

Really depends where you are and the schools to be honest. We had encountered ZERO of this where I live, and that's largely due to the fact that clearly the vast majority of teachers and administrators have been fairly right leaning. My oldest graduated last year and never ran into it, and my second is in 8th grade now and has yet to see it. And trust me...he's looking! The minute we do, everyone involved becomes famous due to the impending lawsuit.

We also are very involved in the school and what the kids are doing, so there is little that slips past us so we'll know it if anything comes up.

Good for you, Bruh. I wish everyone would. Put the damn teachers unions out of business.

The Teachers and board members all have similar values.
At least for now.

Every conservative and right winger should make their priority to remove their children from these filthy public schools.

Private school 3 days a week. Home 2 days.

I ask my 8th grader a lot of questions about history and how things are taught.

Our school is big on diversity but the Head of School has said there will be no CRT in our classes.

We do and I think when I’m on my death bed it will be one of the things I’m most proud of. It’s been difficult financially but besides that it’s been amazing. Can’t wait for the influx of people in this thread saying it creates weirdos because they are stuck in a 90’s view of homeschool.

My 3rd is in private school. My older 2 are at VA Tech and we try to keep them on the right path and not get indoctrinated into the liberal BS

We homeschooled for 3 years. They were active in church, sport leagues and hanging out with friends. It turns out the weirdos growing up were weird because of their parents.

dims will eventually outlaw homeschooling and shut down any private schools that don't fall in line.

Exactly Right. I’ll admit early on stranger parents were attracted to homeschool so that’s why it got a reputation. My kids can navigate through lots of different social settings and they get complimented often.

My son is in second grade at a private Christian school. We couldn’t be happier. To add, we don’t necessarily have anything against our local public schools, to our knowledge they are pretty solid. We just really felt comfortable when we took the tour of his school before we enrolled him.

My 8th grade grand daughter who lives with us in in Christian school up here in Minnesota and has been since 2nd grade.....and because God has blessed us to be an hour north of Minneapolis, total cost is less than $6000 per school year, great faculty and real caring environment! Been open whole school year except for 2 week Covid Quarantine when one of teachers' spouse tested positive......

Problems in private Christian schools too, especially with young teachers.

I went to both public and Catholic school. Kids are in Catholic school and will remain until they graduate as long as we have the means.

I live in a rural district in a very Conservative area of a very Conservative state... still home schooling. My daughter is my responsibility, not the state's. In every facet of her growth. Period.
