re: LSU student section for opener?

No student section at a "neutral" game....
Don't bother. Ugly game....
Hurricane season extends through November....
Interesting note about suspensions not happening if players are good. BYU suspends players for honor code violations no matter who they are....
Not if I were there. I'd stop for pizza or something on the way. Depending where you go, you might find someone willing to be designated driver though....
I'm sad about it, but hope it's entertaining anyhow. :geauxtigers: (except this week!)...
No. With the change in travel plans, caffeine may be necessary....
I think that referred to those who left the program, those potentially suspended, and injuries. Is Key playing? I thought he was hurt....
"Bless your heart" is southern for "that's sweet, but we're going to trash you". I'm for BYU, but live in Texas and understand what you mean to say. ...
BYU usually travels well, but the change in venue will really hurt. My group of 10 is down to 4, and I'm no longer in it. We would likely have been 25-30% of the crowd at NRG (huge Mormon population in Texas, and many people had circled this as an exciting game to travel for), but now I doubt we exc...
Leading tacklers from last year gone/out- (I'll list them all because it looks crazier) #1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 11, 14, 15, 16 and 19. TFL leaders gone 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 Sack leaders gone 1, 2, 3, 4, and a few others mingled in there with 1 sack http://www.cougarboard.com/board...
Tanner is legit, but BYU receivers are questionable. The best way to beat BYU right now is tight coverage on the receivers, allowing for the D to stack the box. Tanner's not completely immobile, but we no longer have a QB that can torch the D for long runs when plays break down. At least one rece...

No one has ever played against a Tongan head coach before last year. Kalani was the first....

You'll see black Mormons depending on where you go. Utah & Idaho? Not so much. Atlanta? Different story. Africa? The majority. The old A&M strength and conditioning coach that just went to the Chargers is a Mormon. So is Gladys Knight....

I'm a Mormon and enjoy my Dr. Pepper (Cola tastes like nasty medicine!). However, I don't drink it all the time because one of the main reasons I live this health code is to avoid addictive and harmful substances. Many people who drink caffeine every day cannot function without it, and I don't wa...

For any who may not be aware, about 6500 Mormon volunteers visited Baton Rouge last September to help clean up the mess. I came with a group from College Station to help out. I've never seen anything like it, including when I worked in insurance repair doing water damage jobs. It was great to see al...

re: Ticket Prices in the Dome?

Posted by TailgateU on 8/29/17 at 1:15 pm
There was time to sell tickets at NRG. The Dome doesn't have much time to make its money. They assume that if you already made up your mind to attend, you'll pay whatever they say....
Isn't inbred humor a bit silly coming from the South?...
