You're probably right. Strange, though. Last few times I have heard shots:
1) Police chopper called out and hovered (two nights in a row) for an hour or so (Summer time)
2) WAFB and Co. were covering the story during the last homicide on Balis.
So.

Yeah honestly until you posted this I was pretty confused as to what was causing the light. Did last a good few seconds though. :cool:

Yeah I wouldn't expect you to hear them from that far away. This sounded like Acadian/Bawell/College area. Hard to really determine which direction they were coming from. Just wondered if anyone else had any information because I never heard sirens or anything afterwards.

Sounded like it was near LSU/Acadian/Bawell general area. I heard 8 shots, a break, and then 4-6 more.
