Did anyone else just see a bright blue light streak across the sky in BR?

Probably the brightest meteor I've ever witnessed in person.

I saw in in Prairieville. Brightest shooting star I’ve ever seen. The streak behind it lasted for almost 30 seconds. Crazy.

I was in the back yard and honestly it freaked me out a bit. I immediately hit the google machine to see if meteors were that bright and apparently yes they are and have the most dramatic effect right after midnight.

Yeah honestly until you posted this I was pretty confused as to what was causing the light. Did last a good few seconds though.

About 20 min ago, along the coast of St Mary Parish. Appeared in the southern sky so probably over the Gulf somewhere. Had a tail no less than 25 miles would be my guess.

Best apart about that gif is seeing HC's eyes move in a different direction than her head. So unnatural.
