It makes lives for the DAs a lot easier. Whenever Carl Criminal says I didn’t do anything, I’ve got video showing that he stole a y’all boy from the gas station.
Stayed up late studying for an early morning final, then slept through my alarm. Got to the exam when there was only 15 minutes left to take it.

Begged the professor to let me at least attempt the exam, and she gave me until a meeting that she had 30 minutes after the exam ended. Obviously didn't get to finish the exam, but it's better than a 0.

Went to her office a few days later and gave her a gift card for a nice restaurant as a show of thanks. She was really nice about it.
Sunday is Capitol City Beer Fest. If you're willing to pay money for a ticket, there's a lot of craft beer vendors from the area that you can sample.

LSU Law started a new club called the Cannabis Society. Their goal is to help new lawyers develop a market for medical marijuana business. Basically, trying to play it up to conservatives as being a new economic benefit to the state, but since it's mostly administrative, it's gonna have a whole lot of regulations and agency restrictions.
My grandpa is in the crew where I'm from. They hang out at the Hardee's. Gets a biscuit and a coffee every morning.

And all of them wait outside the front door and yell at the employees for not being open yet or when they're a few minutes late.
I noticed my black vehicle shows up more dirt than my old white one did. I just end up washing my black vehicle more.

But, when it'd clean, it looks great. Makes me feel better driving it.

The only other thing I would complain about with a black vehicle is the heat. Having a black vehicle bake in the sun in south LA is awful, so make sure you tint your windows and always leave a crack in them.

I just got 2 suits cleaned and paid $30. I feel like I got robbed.
It's a grind either way. If you're a prosecutor, you're pressured into getting a conviction both by your office and by a vindictive victim (especially if money or violence was involved). I've seen a lot of situations where the victim was the instigator of a lot of issues, but still pressuring the ADA to "throw the book."

On the other hand, defense attorneys deal with less funding, a larger case load, and cops that work under the table. You're also dealing with a possible client who "didn't do anything" while at the same time you have clear evidence that they did.

It's just a matter on when and where to pick your battles. You don't want to push the envelope on a case where you KNOW your client is guilty or that there's shoddy investigation work. But, you do have those instances where it's not exactly clear and there's a good case for both sides. Prosecutors and defense attorneys have to focus their attention on those situations, and (because of the overwhelming case load) shirk off on the others.
I'll take shite that didn't happen for $400, Alex
Like it was mentioned earlier, it's probably fine. My usual work involves business casual, and I normally work some slacks and a button down shirt with rolled up sleeves. If you're that worried, you can wear the usual suit, but skip the tie, coat, or both.

Yeah that's normally the trend.

A lot of the guys in jail right now have either serious drugs problems or are homeless. For the people with drug problems, they don't have easy access to their normal habits, eat 3 meals a day, and gain weight and look healthier. The same goes for the homeless.

On top of that, most of the guy inmates have to do some type of manual labor, which means working outside lifting heavy shite in Louisiana summer. Get some gains real quick if you're in there for 2-3 months.

For the ladies, it's different. They're held in a completely different facility from the men, don't get access to their normal beauty products, and don't do as much physical activity, resulting in them not getting as much exercise. Plus, their facility is a lot cooler, so they aren't sweating 24/7 like the males do. You pretty much hit the nail on the head.

Good places to go for a first date

Going to ask out a lady friend out for a date tomorrow. Not really sure where to go.

Not necessarily illegal under federal law because under the ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act), people can't ask you about what disability that you have the dog for. You can only ask what services it performs and then you basically have to infer based off of that.

However, there are a few states that have penalties. Louisiana does require that the owner provide a certificate or something to prove that the animal is a service animal if they don't normally allow animals in their establishments.
