re: Duck Hunters who don't eat duck

Never eaten ducks till I tried this recipe. Now I never give them away.
Duck recipe
Recipe is for 10 medium size ducks so adjust accordingly. Need to cook outside.

1- stick unsalted butter
1 - 2 oz jar Paul Prudhomme's blackened redfish seasoning
10 - ducks

Melt butter, add 2 oz jar seasoning, mix well - will make a paste.
Cube duck breast in dice size cubes
Mix cubes in paste set aside

Need 8 to 10" cast iron skillet and a burner.

Put cast iron skillet on burner and get white hot. Take a serving spoon of duck breast and put in skillet. Will smoke and catch on fire. Continuously stir for exactly 60 seconds. No more no less. They are done after this. Put skillet back on burner, get white hot, and repeat.

Thanks for the input. Just talked to a friend of mine that owns a sporting clays range and has an outdoor show so he pretty much shoots guns for a living. He has several new Beretta 390 silver mallard editions and swears it’s the best gun Beretta has ever made. Can get one never fired for $800. Only problem is it’s wood with satin finish and I am pretty rough on guns. Guess I’m going to shoot them all and see what feels the best.

Didn’t mean to downvote you. I completely agree with you on the 3 1/2”. I have a Browning BPS 10 gauge. If I need it I always have it as a backup.

I just don’t like the way the 300 feels. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a fine shooting gun and he’s had zero problems with it but if I’m going to spend $700 or $1300 I want it to feel right.

I can get a 300 for $699. My son has been shooting one for 4 or 5 years. IMO there is no comparison between the 300 and 400. 400 feels and handles light years ahead of the 300.

The only reason the 400 is in the picture is because bass pro dropped their price to $1399 which is $100 more than the M2.

Been shooting a pump all my life. Decided to make a switch this year. Have hunted with the 400 and love the way it shoots and feels. Have held the M2 but never shot it. I know one is gas and the other inertia but was wanting some feedback from some of you guys.
Check out the beretta a 350. $999.99
