All of these suggestions have been great and very helpful. Does anyone have any specific recommendations in Phoenix?

Damn. Yeah no rain in the forecast at all. Hope it stays manageable

That's exactly my plan in 2 weeks. Denver and then Estes Park. My son is in a sensitive group so worried about taking him but monitoring the situation. It does look like it's pretty unpredictable though.

Sounds like you could have actually been helpful then...

There were good updates on where the fires are but no personal accounts of how bad the smoke actually is and opinions on whether I should cancel my trip in a few weeks which is what I was looking for

Surprisingly, I did that before asking the question but couldn’t find too much info. Was hoping someone on here either lives in the area or knows someone that does that would have some better guidance

We are planning to travel to Denver in 2 weeks, but I saw today that there are a few wildfires burning in the area around Denver causing smoke throughout Denver. Does anyone have any advice on traveling there or any good resources for finding out more information?

re: Hanging TV Outside on Hardie Board

Any suggestions on actual type of mount to use? I'm concerned that some of the larger rectangular mounts will span the hardie boards and therefore not lie flat. I guess the solution to that would just be to install some sort of spacer on the lower connections?

I've never done this before. Does anyone have any good tips on how to attach the bracket and make things level enough?

Simplisafe vs Nest Alarm System

Thoughts on which to go with any why? I like the nest system but the individual sensors are $50 each. Will be pretty expensive to cover all the doors and windows

So what is the downside to switching to the new unlimited plans?

Mine always looks great on my phone and shitty on my TV. I don't know what the deal is. All other channels look fine

Yeah that's disgusting

re: Bisected Burger?

Posted by bmfb6 on 6/1/17 at 2:46 pm to
That's my general theorem as well, but I also think the toppings (both the amount and the slipperiness of them) factors into it. I mean, a smaller burger with grilled onions, ketchup, mayo, pickles, melted cheese, bacon, and grilled mushrooms and I'm going to slice that bitch before wearing it.

re: Bisected Burger?

Posted by bmfb6 on 6/1/17 at 2:34 pm to
Would you insert it into your arse whole or bisected? I prefer bisected.

re: Bisected Burger?

Posted by bmfb6 on 6/1/17 at 2:33 pm to
This is not about the toppings, although that can figure into the decision of whether to slice or not. I agree that the amount of bread and the kale is stomach turning, but I personally prefer the slice to not. Imagine the amount of kale that would end up on your lap if you tried to eat that thing whole.

What is the "correct" way to eat a burger? Do you slice it in half or eat it whole? Please discuss

re: Best VPN for Kodi

Well I guess I heard that IPs can slow down people that they know are using Kodi or that there are some legality type reasons where it would be better to use a VPN.

ok, I just educated myself a little and I'll look into that some more. Looks like some pretty solid equipment.

Best VPN for Kodi

I've been using Kodi a lot lately and just recently learned that I should probably use a VPN. Does anyone have any good recommendations as to an easy to install and use VPN?

re: Home Security System

I should have clarified. I'm not looking for a camera system. I already have m own installed. I want a home alarm system that will also be monitored. I want door entry sensors and fire/smoke/carbon monoxide detection to be monitored. I'd like a smart system that I can install myself and control through some sort of smart home integration or iphone app.
