I’ve had two English bulldogs.
My first, Jack, passed away at 13 years old. We made the decision to put him down once his hind legs started giving out. (Hip issues happen with a lot of older dogs.)

Now we have a 1 y.o. EB and he is pretty healthy. We had some stomach issues for a bit. All we had to do was find the perfect kind of food for him. (Purina Pro Plan—Stomach And Skin)

They can’t be out in the heat for long periods of time and can get hot spots every now and then.

Crazy chewers until about 1.5 years old. Be prepared to invest in some heavy duty chew toys.
Like others said, major personality.
Never had any signs of aggression at all in either of them. Not even a growl.
