re: Toledo Bend: 10 days of fishing

Posted by HarroldAllen on 3/13/17 at 8:36 pm
My clients are averaging 20+ a day dragging a motor oil worm off the banks. The bigger fish have not pulled up yet, so after a few hours of "catching" I'm spending my time graphing secondary points in the 15ft range. 1/8th oz weight and a trick worm is all you'll need. Look for me in my red skeeter ...

Finished up scouting for my clients tom. Got the chickens rounded up. The wife had some crawfish she picked up on the way home so I gobbled them up. Now I'm about to finger blast her without washing my hands just to pay her back from getting my red wings two nights ago...

yes sir, you can train a rooster to do several things. he is like family. it starts at a young age, but with proper patience and a routine, you can train a rooster to be a very reliable "alarm clock" + or - 15 minutes. now that being said.... he can get temperamental around dinner time and tries to ...

yes, but this will require some training. they do better on a daily routine, so the wknd part will be hard. my suggestion is to get a sitter when your out of town to help keep the chickens on a routine. remember...... the rooster is the leader, so thats the ticket to ensuring proper coops....

well "vegetarian chickens" are technically raised in a pen and only eat grain. free roam chickens like the ones we raise, eat grain in their bedroom but they come back with dead rats, snakes, worms all the time. they really love the variety they can get free roaming. I hate to see animals kept capti...

the best way we raise the chickens over here in shelbyville, is to let them free roam during the day and bring them in at night. After a little bit of training, they will learn to come home to the feed at night. we put a heat lamp in our spare bedroom and a doggy door for them to free roam as they p...
youll want to target early shad spawn right now, then back off to the humps in the creek channels on a good worm. we have caught most of our fish in the Housen area the last couple of years. keying on good underwater grass is the key. learn to read and trust your birds. ...
