Do you think Saban runs the offense or defense coaching for his team? Head coaches of big programs assign those tasks to their coordinators.

I'd be more worried about the Ole Miss game then Alabama. They might not stop scoring until triple digits.

Head coaches in big programs like LSU are really there for fund raising & putting the resources in place to develop the players including coaches.
This season is done, what Coach O does in the next year or two to get the program back will determine if he was a one hit wonder or a good head coach.

This doesn't look like a defense you can fix this year. He either doesn't have the talent for the defense he's throwing out there or his players are going to need another year to gain enough experience to implement his ideas.
Bad quarterback play by the opposing team can make your defense look better then it is. Receivers are still wide open all over the field.

I hate the idea of switching quarterbacks every quarter like some programs have done in the past but nothing would surprise me.

I thought he played a good game but he's got to grow up fast. He held the ball a few times while staring at one receiver waiting for him to get open. He's going to get sacked if he continues to do that. I'm not seeing him make his progressions on the drop back passes.

He wasn't throwing a bunch of interceptions. Of course Brennan could have done better but its pretty rare for a quarterback to look good in their first SEC start.
I thought the coaching was horrible. They should have tried establishing a running game in order to open up the passing game. The running game would have also kept Mississippi States offense off the field.
The defensive coaching was just as bad as the offense. Did they make any half-time adjustments?

Brady wants to be a NFL head coach. The best path would be a NFL offensive coordinator & that's why he's leaving. Coach-O is a class act & he's not going to boot Ensminger.

What if LSU had been able to hire Tom Herman & he had the same record as Orgeron? Would these idiots be calling for Herman to be fired? Texas had a 7 -6 record which proves that it takes talent & depth at all positions for a football team to reach the final four.
The negativity on this board is hurting the schools ability to recruit top talent. Don't posters realize that potential recruits read the rant. Who wants to go to a school where everyone wants to fire the coach?
