Big Trouble

Based on a book by Dave Barry. Funny as shite, just like anything the author has ever written.
If Les Miles, with all his sh*tty LSU offenses, goes to TN and brings in Tee Martin and slings it all over the yard while poaching Austin Thomas, I won't even melt, I'll kill myself.

What about Mike Yurcich, Oklahoma State? I know people will say that it is Gundy's offense but that offense has changed a little bit since Yurcich has been calling plays and Gundy has sung his praises the last few years. Seems to incorporated power running into spread concepts:

"From 2015 to 2016, there was a substantial uptick in the running game, as the Cowboys went from averaging 3.6 yards per carry and 126.8 yards per game in 2015 to averaging 4.5 yards per carry and 171.0 yards per game in 2016. Oklahoma State had two games of 200 yards rushing in 2015, but had five such games in 2016. Justice Hill led all FBS freshmen with 1,142 rushing yards in 2016.

In 2015, the Cowboys ranked seventh nationally in passing offense, 14th nationally in scoring offense, 17th nationally in yards per completion and ninth nationally in red zone offense. Additionally, the Pokes ranked in the top 25 nationally in fewest fumbles lost, pass efficiency, total offense and fewest turnovers lost."

Etling threw the ball 28 times vs. Texas A&M, completing 20 of them for a completion percentage of 71%....For 324 yards. Sure, I'm okay with Etling throwing it 28 times a game.
Scarface just isn't a very good movie.

Aerosmith had two members replaced in the early 80's for a few years. Whitford and Perry.

Oh and also, Aerosmith is terrible.
This Broyles-award-nominated offense was run by NATHAN PETERMAN. And you're doubting Canada's ability to successfully run an offense? My dear lord.

This.
Is this crazy to some people? OP, are you implying this is ridiculous? OF COURSE we wanted Fedora or Gundy over Orgeron. Is Les Miles available? Christ.
This post again begs the question: Why on earth do people think that LSU will buyout Miles to go cheap? It would defy all logic.
I only have Gundy over Fedora because I feel that what Gundy has accomplished over an extended period at Oklahoma State is nothing short of extraordinary. He blows Les's tenure there out of the water. I also really like Fedora but some of his defenses (as with Gundy) have been absolutely atrocious. Gundy has a stronger resume at this point.

You feel pretty good about starting a thread with an "update" and expressing your opinion?
As an LSU fan that just moved to Boston and has really been exposed to his offenses every Sunday, I'd be really intrigued by this. He knows how to play to his QB's strengths and weaknesses. He made Jimmy Garappolo look like a pro bowler and had a Jacoby-Brissett-run offense dominate a semi-decent Texans team. It's really hard to win with a third string QB in the NFL. We could do MUCH worse.
This is the weirdest comparison.
