Agreed. I just texted my buddy and said it’s undeniable. Bad team with a good QB. Not like Bengals bad… like the Jets bad.
And your conclusion is backed up by 9 rushes for 36 yards and 1 catch for 5 yards?

Tell me, genius, where do you think Kamara would rank at the end of the season if he repeated this stellar performance in every game?

Here’s Kamara’s average seasonal stats for his first four seasons vs. his last five seasons. The only stat that went up was the number of carries.

Rushing Stats
—————————-
168 carries/5.1 per carry/10.8 TD
200 carries/3.9 per carry/3.6 TD

Receiving Stats
—————————-
82 catches/8.7 per catch/3.8 TD
56 catches/7.5 per catch/2.0 TD

The myth of Alvin Kamara is much greater than the production of Alvin Kamara.

This.

TBH, I was hoping for him to be traded during the Michael Thomas foot injury era because we were in desperate need of a rebuild and I felt we could get a 1st round pick. No way we could get a 1st round pick now and I think that says everything.

I love his commitment to the team and city, but that doesn’t translate to production… and hasn’t for quite some time. He was never going to be a featured RB.

I just don’t see any of the accolades one would associate with a HOF RB.

I hope he’s OK, but I can’t ignore how well the backup played. Banks had that false start and got injured two plays later. Then we proceeded to score two TD’s and get the W.

And don’t overlook that he completed passes to eight different players. It’s something I noticed last year as well. Completed 84% today… yeah we got our guy!
I'd estimate probably 10-12 homes are flooded in Willow Point in Denham. I've lived here since 2010 and this is the highest water I've seen. This is #1. TS Lee is #2. The rain we had a couple of months ago is #3.
