If your really into cooking and eating healthy and not in a hurry they are worth it..most restaurants use steam ovens to reheat..takes longer than microwave but will rehydrate food superbly

Total BTU output is not indicative of the power or cooking performance of cooktop. Distance from flame to bottom of pot is the determining factor for efficiency. The farther the distance the greater loss of heat. Also performance on simmer setting is not consistent from brand to brand. The Wolf double port burner does well on simmer. Thermador does best because burner will cycle on and off.
The wolf convection oven with dual elements is the best performing oven in industry.

If you are not using rinse aid (ie jet dri) your dishes will not dry in ANY Bosch dishwasher (or any of the new dishwashers without heating element). Although since your dishwasher is 13 years old, I assume you have been using the jet dry or you would have had the problem from day one. Buy new dishwasher...
Fwiw, Bosch was rated "most reliable" in consumer reports last time I checked...13 years is way above the average life span for dishwasher.

1, I would not count on it "self-correcting'
2. Doubt it is compressor or icemaker if it is not making noise when door opened or pushed on and also doubt it is a leveling issue..probably dropped prior to delivery
3. If it is noticeably loud and bothers you, switch it out...life to short to settle,..it will be an ongoing "aggravation'
