All of his advanced metrics are down compared to last year and his entire career averages. He's in the same division and it's not like he's coming off injury. Do you think he has mailed it in now that he got his payday or are his mechanics/tendencies messed up?

I only started following MLB in 2011 so I didn't get to see A-Rod in his Mariners/rangers days and I was wondering what was watching him play like? In terms of pure talent is he the best you had seen in a while?
