Wow, you are correct. I messed up with 2016 and 2015. But I think the rest of it is right. First number is what they are hitting now and second was last year. Yes I know it wasn't a big deal to pull the stats off the website...I was just trying to give a visual point. Sorry for the errors

From what I see:
Bailey Landry is killing the team between not being able to bunt and just not hitting.

Emily Griggs, I can't remember the last good series she has had.

Constance Quinn has dropped about 200 points in her BA in last 25 games

Not to mention Serrett...but she is a Freshman

I took a look at last years BA's and compared them to this years BA's see for yourself:

As you can see we are not that far off from where were last year. Aside from our to slappers having bad years (Bailey Landry batting 100 points less than last year and Emily Griggs batting .44 points less than last year) The team seems to be doing ok.

Digging deeper I noticed that we are striking out a lot more than last year (Led again by Bailey Landry and Emily Griggs)

I noticed that all of our hitters have roughly the same amount of hits led by Bailey Landry with 39 and last is Kelsi Kloss with 31 Every other hitter on our team has somewhere in between.

So you might ask whats the difference between this year and last year. I would have to say its clutch hitting! Last year we got every clutch hit....this year we are leaving people on base by the bunches. Why are we leaving them on base....strikeouts are big, and not being as clutch as we were last year.

However, it seems we are now playing better defense, and our pitching is some of the best in the nation. I would not want to play these young ladies late in the season if it all comes together.

Guess what I am saying is.... It would be easy to say they are done.....if we couldn't pitch....or hit....or field. But we can do all 3 and when it comes together Watch Out

That is so laughable. To even think that there hasn't been better players since Ashlee Ducote shows your ignorance about the game. The game is so much better now then when she played, the SEC is now the premier conference in softball. Compare that to when Ashlee played it's night and day. There have been several All Americans since she played...and they all played in a much tougher SEC conference. Stop trying to live your life through your sisters accomplishments.
