Correct. At first I started to re-read my post, concerned there might be a typo. Fortunately, I noticed that you got it exactly right. I've been specifically riverside for 6.5 years

As a true uptown (riverside of st chuck) who-dat for nearly three-quarters of a decade, I am truly embarrassed. This disappointing result to the football game is a poor circumstance that happened on Sunday to the Crescent City, and we have successfully used it to identify ourselves as whinny losers. IF there is a re-match, I will sell my tickets to a Rams fan

Fact: If the refs had correctly called PI on the only play anyone is remembering from the game, we would have won the football game.

Fact: If the saints had correctly executed a handful of plays before and after the PI no-call, we would have won the football game

Everyone forgets that after winning the coin toss in OT (a situation in which the rules actually grant the winner of a coin-flip a competitive advantage), the refs gave us a PI call back. They called PI with the coverage on Arnold. It was light contact on an uncatchable ball to a guy who can't catch even if it was right on his hands. The resulting penalty yardage was the biggest play of that drive. We followed by losing 6 yards on a run, then Brees throwing a playground-type duck up for grabs.

And right, none of this would have happened if the refs did their job correctly. Winners continue to do their jobs correctly even when others dont, its how you end up winning. We were unable to do our jobs correctly after the refs failed at theirs. Our mindset was caught up on the missed PI. This is understandable for fans, children, and grown up losers.

And just like the refs unnecessarily made us still have to perform as a football team in OT, Sean Payton unnecessarily allowed the game to come down to the refs by passing it on 1st down. He's big on the Bilichick cut-off sleeves, I wish he was big on the Hoodie's mentality both in play calling and in game situational mindset .

I hate to say but we might be watching brees’ last game with the team. It’s been a great run tho

What I'm thinking is they turn the lights out and show that play, then reggie appears from the smoking tunnel with that bat, getting everyone jacked. I can see it now. I remember in 06 how jacked I was after he got up from that monster hit, unifying the city in post-katrina environment and such, and its perfectly fitting to try to recapture some of that BIG moment in a BIG game that we went on to win in the same weekend against the same opponent. let me know if yall have any ideas of how we could make that awesome

We should bring reggie out pre game to commemorate the 12 year anniversary of him being the victim of one of NFL Football histories most devastating hits on the opening offensive snap of the 2006 nfc divisional against philly. We went on to win that game, so i think it would get the team ready to have reggie there on field maybe with that wood bat while they show that play on the jumbotrahn
"Can you envision Bill Belichick mocking the Who Dat chant at the end of a Saints-Patriots game, win or lose?"

That might be my favorite quote from the article. Answer: No.

The truth hurts i know, like the fact we are at home again this weekend after another, this time inconceivable, defensive blunder to be left senselessly at the door step of another NFC championship. This happens because our HC is a cocky offensive geak that neglects defense, and posts some of the WORST DEFENSES IN THE HISTORY OF THE NFL. Sean Payton has twice as many inexcusable Division game collapses as he does SB appearances.

I’m sorry... are you friggin high????? Since when did Payton = mediocrity??? His worst season has been 7-9 (Cleveland dreams of going 5-11) and he has won numerous playoff games, 3 NFC South titles, and has no less than a top 3 offense every year he’s been here. Maybe you’re a Mike Smith fan? Cause that clown was mediocre.

Wow. Thank you for strengthening my argument more. WE ARE WAY BETTER THAN CLEVELAND! crown him for life!

What part of the argument that SP and DK were in are you saying different? That shouldn't even have been in the article as it's not even in the same ballpark as the showboating with fans. He was calling out dirk for lying about not knowing that Evans did anything. The other two instances are fine with me. That falcon game was stolen and if not for a miracle the vikings game was over also

Great article. His behavior is embarrassing, but what is more embarrassing is the blind love and support for this guy who

1. If any other coach acted like this, you would hate
2. If any other coach had his track record of mediocrity, despite the Super Bowl Championship, would be fired or on a very hot seat.

Think of guys with championships, but bc of lack of performance, mind you mediocre but still better than SP's regular and postseason record, seats get hot: Tomlin, Coughlin, McCarthy, and this year Mularkey in Tennessee. Our frame of reference for what is good is really pathetic. No other teams with a first ballot Hall of Famer QB still in this championship window would tolerate how many seasons of our 12 with him we have wasted. Hell, teams can guys who have done more with less.

We truly define a looser mindset for a fanbase if there ever was one. It took us 3-13 to fire Hasslett even though we chocked playoff chances away for the 3-4 consecutive years previous. Besides ONE 10-6 SEASON and a SINGULAR FREAKING WILD CARD PLAYOFF GAME win, we crowned him.

and now, we have this tool that we are married to until he decides he quits. He gets paid what he wants, which has no correlation to whether he goes 7-9 three years in a row or win the SB. He decides how he acts.

Great article. Total lack of accountability here that any other respectable franchise would completely shut down.

I'm ok with you posting this, but just be ready to be held equally accountable if you're wrong as you expect to be a praised fortune teller if you're right. I will see to it that everyone recalls attention to this and sees you for the coward you are

re: What is a "Bandwagon"?

Posted by Youngest Mathiason on 1/3/18 at 8:34 am to
The other group of people tied for most pathetic ppl in universe are those who take pride in being above bandwagon fans....you know, your Mr and Mrs. Holierthanthou Von Judginton types...

The Saints/NFL is a business which we consume. When the product sucks, I do not consume. Those who do define being a looser. 4 out of 5 7-9 years is a trash product. Only mindless farmed morons consume such a product. Those insecure types that beat their chest to the fact that they still support the team no matter what! That when we are 5-7 and 3 games out of first place with 4 games to go, they believe we can still make it! Look at me I believe! You essentially are incapable of thinking for yourself and cling to the idea of being a "true fan."

This year, the product is excellent, so I consume. Just like when the pizza dump around the corner comes under new ownership, and makes better pizza, I consume when I didnt previously. If their product becomes garbage again, I will not religiously consume their garbage pizza.

Just my too sense

Of all options including guys on bench + BoJo, I say slaughter and BoJo are tied for last option. Jordan kills us in every aspect of the game. I liken him and Mayeri's relationship to Miles and Jordan Jefferson. It makes no sense

I don't know what y'all are talking about. Breaux IS righty. Anyone here ever watch the games?

We don't draft LSU guys. Benson is too butt hurt from getting boo'd at Death Valley in 05 for being a fat sea-knile bafoon
Yea, was thinking the same thing last year. It was similar to this sick team I had with the Dolphins in Madden 02. I traded for Brett Favre then gave him what ever money he asked for even when he was too old. I always surrounded him with all the studs (Moss, Eddie George, Mike Allstate, etc) then eventually ran out of money and had to sign made up guys with an overall of like 52 to play DB for me at league minimum salary. Eventually, I got a message from the game that said I lost control of the team because I couldn't fill out a roster even with league minimum salaries. So that was all for that team, but it was so sick at one time. Favre to moss and george were such sick stats. Sucks the Saints do this in real life. When will Goodell revoke the team from Loomis on a count of just producing trash and essentially having a fictional child-developed team?

Sure. We are a talented, stacked-on-paper kind of team who is extremely emotionally and competitively soft. Can't hang with menial in state competition like UNO or McNeese. Maybe Kramer should have bulldozed another teammate for a highlight reel catch last night. That's the only game we won recently is when he did that.
