Longtime lurker who just felt the need to join to comment in this thread. The amount you are going to pay for services until your deductible is met will be the negotiated contract rate the insurance company has made with the provider. These amounts can widely vary but information is hard to come by until you receive your Explanation of Benefits which will show the contract adjustment. I fervently believe there needs to be an easy way for consumers to compare these rates because this is what really determines out of pocket costs with high deductible plans!
