re: What about the girl from Raising Canes who got brutally murdered?

The differences are that those acts that were done to that lady, which were horrible and evil. Those perps are getting justice and will get hit with everything the law can throw at them.
What you're not understanding is that certain communities have a population that gets a killing like this every so many months. The frustration comes in when there is video evidence of a cop putting 4-6 slugs in a man chest and there is people already saying he was doing his job.
Those cops can call it a career... That won't be easy to explain

re: Why Saints should sign Johnny Manziel

Dude has a point... One thing we have to realize is that Drew Brees is not going to play for much longer. Our division is pretty much set with QB's for the next 5 years also. While it isn't wise to assume you need to draft a QB early in the 1st round to have a real chance at winning, all you have to do is look at the QBs playing this weekend.
I would much rather RGIII but Manziel wouldn't hurt to take a look. At this rate if and when Drew Brees retires we will have to stink it up to get a QB worth anything. Its not a bad gamble to get ahead of the curve if you can.

Definitely need to sign this guy... Our offense is equal opportunity especially compared to their QB and offense. Worth at least a look see
As long as Demps ask Anthony Davis input on his top three I think we'll be ok. Because at the end of the day Anthony Davis is the franchise and keeping him happy is priority number 1

I say believe your eyes... If SJB showed them enough promise I don't think they would draft 2 corners on top of signing Breaux.. If you're SJB, Frederick, and Dixon you know the club doesn't like something it sees if you bring this much help in the offseason.
I think Breaux and Williams will get the initial looks, especially when you look at Breaux's tape. Swann also will get a good look also. I think it stands
Lewis
Browner
Williams
Breaux
Swann
Wilson
SJB
Dixon
Fredrick

That was definitely the season that ultimately started to put us to respectability.. Humble times lol.. Brooks doesn't get the appreciation he should've gotten for that brief stretch.. He was our first consistent QB that had a gun to spread them out. Mike McCarthy could've done a better job after seeing what he has done with Rogers. All in All for true Saints fans this was a very enjoyable year.
This draft is a solid B.. and can grow to an A. You have to build the defense in which we have done and still doing. Especially the interior with ILB and OLB. We got a corner in which you can never have enough of. You got a future QB who we can begin to groom under Brees which will be sorely needed. Also the pick up of Peat will give us a scenario of putting the best 5 O-lineman on the field.
The pick had to happen at some point.. Strief started to get a bit hurt last year maybe bumping him to guard is not a bad thing. You don't draft an OT that early and don't start him. 1st round O-lineman play
It adds depth to the line.. It gives you flexibility to put the best 5 on the line. If Strife has more life left you try and plug somebody at guard. But you don't draft an OT that early in the draft to sit and learn.
I love the pick especially the way Strief was getting worked at the end of last year...
I kind of hope it is trade bait I want all our first round picks to go on the interior of our defense...
Meateye you have to admit that picking up a qb like Petty wouldn't be bad later on the 2nd round tho

I've been saying on here that I believe a GM made this more news so they can get a 1st round talent for cheap. Its a very sad situation and by no means a mother being killed is something to overlook. I think it wouldn't be too far fetched for a GM to know the inside scoop and can get teams to worry that this guy is untouchable.
re: Biggest upside to drafting Bryce Petty at 31
Posted by Tonto31 on 4/30/15 at 12:51 pm to VA LSU fan
Biggest upside of selecting Petty at 31... Is not selecting in the top 5 after Drew retires. Everybody knows he's getting older and we don't have a replacement for him. Management know this
I wouldn't want a QB in the 1st round but at least they're trying to solve a future problem. Gotta face the fact that we need a QB that can take over in the next few years. Those kind of QBs don't hang out in the 6th rounds anymore
re: What compensation would you offer Browns for Manziel?

TigerBait1127 chill out with all that man.. I'm not on no "Internet troll" shite. I didn't even start this thread.
Your sleep if you think our Saints have done enough drafting of QB's to rest on drafting alone... Archie was the only QB we drafted to be proud of...
If we plan on winning the rest of Brees career here and don't wanna have a losing season to acquire a qb of significance then these are the things we have to at least look at.. You can't refute that

I'll give you that he will need changes but its at least worth a try.. If he learns under Breesus on how to be a professional it can be worth it
If Manziel gets on our roster today he immediatley would be better than every qb but Brees. I think just because he played in the SEC a lot of people haven't left their feelings in college. You would be crazy to think he's a bust let alone that we have any QB on the roster not named Brees that is better

Bad deal with Mettenberger coming here.. Literally need a better O-line for somebody like him in the pocket.

He's definitely worth a 3rd rounder... He's still young, definitely has talent. He's cheap at a 3 round choice for us to see if he can help us. Drew won't last forever and if he can last 2 more years at the least we can probably have Manziel groomed. It's not like the Browns actually are a legit franchise that grooms QB's either
Talent rules... Character is nice and all but y'all know the rest

So using that logic if a person has a history of arrest they can be dealt with the police however the police feel is appropriate?
I'm not saying he was an angel but damn a severed spine as a result of having a history of arrest is going far.
Every race of people have a group that look for reasons to act a fool.. I've seen riots on tv after sporting events that made less sense. fwiw..
You don't think the group of cops have no responsibility in what happened in Baltimore???
