Lift boats or jack up rigs do not have DP so no
What happened was terrible. Talos had to put out a statement like this due to the incorrect rumors that were being circulated. The weather caught everyone by surprise. In an operation like this, the operator will provide a window for the boat contractor to arrive at the platform. It is 100% up to the boat contractor and the captain on when to leave the dock for transit to the platform. No Talos employees were on the boat but there was a contract representative for Talos that was on the boat and was rescued. You would be surprised how many people work on these vessels that do not know how to swim or are scared of the water. When emergencies happen, this fear really restricts the evacuation. It is terrible what happened and prayers sent to everyone that was effected.

Looks like Timarron has an event. What about Shady Valley or Hackberry?

Dallas Club Corp

Going up to Dallas for the LSU/UM game. Going to try and play a couple club corp courses up there. I am familiar with few clubs up north like Gleneagles and Stonebriar. I was wondering if anyone has played Timarron, Las Colinas, Shady Valley, Hackberry, Presonwood (Creek), or Brookhaven. Looking for a recommendation or places not worth the time.
Thanks

When you are trying to find tips between lessons, who are some of the "youtube golf professionals" you watch?

Thanks for the help. I live in the heights area and will keep the clubcorp membership so I don't really want to pay the extra for Kingwood. I have played Bluejack a couple times but I think I would rather be a guest than a member there because of the drive. And yes, I agree, it is amazing.

I play Pine Forest, GCOH, and Royal Oaks each at least once a month. I would like to see about Lakeside but the membership process is painstaking. I really would like to join somewhere I already have friends at. I really like GCOH because of the access to 3 different clubs. Royal Oaks is great, but the price is hard to justify. Pine Forest is great also, but it is the furthest drive. Living in the Heights and working downtown, it is not like you can stop by the club on the way home and get 9 in. I am trying to justify joining a club as a young professional versus just paying guest fees. What was the reason you pulled the trigger?

Golf CC Membership Houston

Living close to downtown it is hard to find a good country club to join. I already have the clubcorp membership but it restricts my weekend play. What have others found as the best bang for their buck when it comes to Houston golf cc memberships?
I would definitely monitor the amount of time sparring. They key is not letting going "50%" escalate into going "100%" 2 minutes into a round. It is amazing how the core strength in martial arts / boxing translates into the other major sports (basketball, football ...). Their overall ability in other sports drastically increases due to training on the mat.
