My God, a lot of you seem to be critical of the nurse. What she said was to the victim. She was trying to encourage the victim to believe she could survive. It wasn't a damned boast.
re: Do these dumb arse geriatric rock stars not realize how cringe they are?
Posted by We Win Again on 6/7/26 at 12:17 pm to Geekboy
I've considered this before and realized that there may not be any other way for these people to make a living.
Doctors, lawyers, coaches, accountants, politicians, etc. (well almost everyone of most other occupations) can work until their 80's and the general population accepts it. Yet, most of us cringe when a musicians or actor stays around until they look old (which on this site would probably be 45 years old).
But, what if they need to keep making money to pay their bills? I'd bet they may have a lot of people also dependent on them continuing in their careers, too. I doubt many of them can suddenly change occupations. We shouldn't assume that they made all the money they'll ever need before they reach 50 years old and then they should magically stop performing forever.

The number of idiots who respond to this with loud mouth confidence they know what they are talking about is pretty astounding.
We have a lot of people on this website who have no idea how stupid they are.

re: ULL is ranked and we're not

Good grief! Poor little Korali thinks everybody is making fun of him because LSU's baseball team is not ranked but some other team is. Of course, we know that this automatically makes fans of that team better human beings than fans of our team.

Let's make sure that somebody says something bad about Woodward and McMahon every day in case anybody else even starts to think otherwise.
My God, a lot of you folks must think about LSU sports 100% of the time.

re: Debut Rock Albums where Every Single Song was Great
Posted by We Win Again on 1/30/26 at 8:43 pm to deeprig9
I echo nominations of the Cars, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Bad Company.
I add the debut LP's of Aerosmith, Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, Doobie Brothers, Van Haylen, and Foreigner.
I think Kiss's first LP was suggested; if not, I add it.
There are a lots more that just escape my mind at this time.
Let me add Garbage's first LP to the list.

You seemed doomed to eternally suffer over the loss of a previous basketball coach. I pity you.

Why are teams like Ole Miss, Oregon, Ohio State, etc so good at rushing from the same/similar shotgun formations? I agree with what you’re saying but lots of teams have shown they can have very competent running games in tough conferences.
They have competent OL Coaching and superior OL Talent! It's as easy as that...........
They have a quarterback who poses a threat to run. Defenses at least have to consider the possibility that the QB might not have handed the ball off to the one possible running back and, instead, is about to haul arse around the end.
