Except for the major difference in the story of the Pyramids that says they were built using slave labor, big difference from one man that supposedly built a giant raft as well as rounded up a male and female of every single animal on earth.
re: The tale of two tragedies; Orlando and Istanbul

I don't see this as media bias at all. I think it points to the facts that have so far been uncovered in the 2 cases.
I don't recall the media saying that the Orlando shooting was not well planned, what they have said is that it was not planned by ISIS directly. Which according to the evidence so far is true. Mateen acted alone with inspiration from ISIS, but the attack in Istanbul seems at this point to be the work of ISIS operatives with direct links and on the orders and planning of ISIS leadership.
If you can't see the difference in the two events, then you aren't paying attention to the details close enough.

Tangi River Band on a Barge
Posted by LucaBrasi504 on 6/29/16 at 11:40 am
Someone was telling me that there's going to be a band playing on an old barge at the mouth of the Tangi River this weekend.
Does anyone know anything about this?

Most people that work for federal government organizations were not just hired over the last 8 years. The fact that someone works for the federal government does not in anyway mean they have some crazy militant allegiance with Obama, and would be willing to die for him to remain in power.
It really is hilarious to hear some of the crazy stuff people think that Obama is going to do. Can anyone that believes this give me any action taken by Obama that would give any rational person the belief that he plans to stay in office and take over the country with the military?
By the way a have plenty of friends in the military, and the overwhelming majority are conservative and don't particularly like Obama, but yeah you're right he's going to use the military along with his militia of Mailmen, nurses from the VA, and accountants from the IRS to crown himself King...

My great great grandfather, Roco Giresi was one of the Italians lynched. Pretty wild story all together. There's a great book about it titled "Who Kill'a Da Chief".

The store owner is an incredibly nice Middle Eastern Muslim man in his mid 40s. I've known him for almost 10 years now and he would not harm a fly, the deceased must have been a real a**hole

I have a court date. Apparently when you go 25 over you can't just pay the ticket and are obligated to appear in court.

Yeah, because lying about getting a speeding ticket is such a thrilling way to troll people.

Got a ticket for going 90 on the Causeway this morning. Anyone have an idea of how much I will be getting fined and if they are going to make me take a driving class?

There's a lot more to travel ball than "making it to the majors". I played travel ball from when i was 8-13 and i will forever cherish those summers that I spent traveling all over the Southeastern U.S. with my best friends and all of our families playing baseball, going to the beach, staying in hotels, and all of the other fun that comes with that. I understand it's not for everyone my IMO if you can afford than it's worth every penny of the experience, and I've had many conversations with my parents about this and they agree that it was just as much fun for them.

While censorship is bad, especially the way it is used in China, it is in no way at the level of what the FBI is asking Apple to do here in America.
Apple's stand against this is great PR for them, but is also them taking a stand for the privacy of the American people.

I never said he should be penalized for keeping the players in state, but I don't think that it was some great recruiting feat by any means. Also, 3 of the arguments that you make almost further prove my point, being that Victor and Sampson's signings both amount to nothing more than a stroke of luck, and that Blakeney doesn't come without Simmons, period.

Exactly, and it's not like those schools have a long basketball history that we can't compete with to attract top level coaching.
I also find it ironic that A&M, Florida, and Alabama all have head coaches that are from the New Orleans metro area.

Robinson had offers from Kansas and other big time programs, and yes he was always meant to be a project, but that being said he is no where near being able to get serious PT.
Josh Gray was arguably the best player coming out of JUCO that year regardless of what people were saying about his selfishness. Go look back at articles from right after we signed him that were saying that he could potentially be a one and done to the NBA.
IMO both of these two players fall under the category of big time recruits at the time of their recruitment.

The myth of JJ being a good recruiter
Posted by LucaBrasi504 on 2/22/16 at 2:25 pm
Everyone always talks about how Johnny Jones is such a good recruiter, but the way I see it Hornsby, Mickey and Quarterman have been the only big time recruits that JJ actually got to come here.
As we all know, Simmons came here because of his godfather, David Patrick. Blakeney doesn't come if Simmons doesn't come.
Martin and Sampson are both from BR and therefore it's hard to give the coach credit for recruiting them when all they did was stay home. Victor also falls in this category.
Elbert Robinson and Josh Gray were both big time recruits coming in that have been busts.
Johnny O'Bryant obviously wasn't recruited by him and on top of that he ran Hickey out of town.
So when it's all said and done Coach Jones is really only responsible for Hornsby, Quarterman, Mickey, and Epps (Added to the list because I feel like his ceiling is very high).
Therefore, not only is our coach not very good at the coaching part, but when it's really broken down he isn't all that great of a recruiter either. If he can't win with this team, he can't win.

Haha okay? Not too sure what I said to make me sound uneducated. The reason for the post was actually to educate myself on the law, but your welcome to your own opinion, bud.

If you get pulled over, are you legally obligated to inform the officer that you have a weapon?
