re: Cole Kelley on Arky Commit Watch...Will LSU offer?

You are ignorant if you think that Harris "has it" Jennings and Harris both are sub par QB's no matter which way you slice it. The most successful LSU offense was with Mett who was not mobile and slow on his feet (COLE). You would rather see us get another "dual-threat" QB to come in and it be the same story again take your blinders off and realize pro style pocket passer is the route that we need to go to get the ball to our playmakers

The mobile qb needs to end. That hasnt worked for us ever nor do i predict it being successful in the future. It is ridiculous that some of you are still trying to bargain for the "mobile" qbs. The reason that we were beaten by some of these teams is because the system that they run requires them to have a mobile qb (with the exception of bama) and the "system" that we run is not suited for a "mobile" qb it is suited for a pro-style guy with an above average arm as we have seen in the past this has been the formula for success and cole has some of the same traits as met. Enough with the mobile qbs

The fact and the matter is is that espn put these 17 and 18 year old kids on pedestal on signing day by making it a massive ordeal and mind you all these are still kids they do not know how to handle some of this immediate spotlight. Im all for having the local news there but leave it off of espn because then it can become a mockery
re: I know its beating a dead horse. Cole Kelly

I have to agree again with that. The "mobile" qbs have been the achilles heel of the offense for years. Kelly is the most similar to met and that was when the offense was the most multiple and able to do way more in the vertical game. I am a fan of kelly

Time will tell on this but i will be willing to bet that at the end of this summer your mind is changed i have seen both of them play in person both good however kelly is to me much better than patterson. You cannot coach being 6'6 or natural arm strength

Kelley isn't close to Franks or Patterson. He's got a decent arm and is mobile but doesn't have a very quick release. He'll make someone a decent QB but I don't think he would ever play at LSU.
Clearly you have not watched any tape on either of the quarterbacks you are talking about. Franks is a good quarterback no doubt however he has a long windup style release while kelly is quick release and has above average arm strength. Also, i will say it again why does everyone feel the need that we have a mobil quarterback? The best offense we had was with Mett (no mobility like Cole) but please lets continue this trend of a mediocre "mobile" qb
Ignorance is a disease
Cole Kelly is a better QB than Patterson. He has a very live are and is one of the smartest kids i have seen play the game...not to mention he is 6'8
