You got the answer.

Clemson dropped him because of grades. He's a sign and place guy.
You're aware that 2 of our DL commits are from Alabama, right?
He doesn't need a medical, he never redshirted.

He was an early enrollee, and played as a true freshman.

I read he was leaning toward leaving, but not 100%

Godchaux has a kid. He's gone.

We just offered. Apparently he's originally from New Orleans

Because he committed to LSU before anyone could put any CB picks to LSU on him, and now you can't CB him to LSU.

His brother plays football for UH, too.

Oh, and Meekins' brother is the new coach at Westfield, and he has the reputation of 'forgetting' to tell Oliver when schools come by or call.

UH has this one wired pretty tight....
He's also a former high school team-mate of #1 Juco CB Justin Martin, who's visiting us on January 23rd:

Silly me for assuming the Texas bowl would be better for recruiting!

Everyone's waiting on Clemon's grades.
Shipley is for sure, Womack is a maybe.

Think McMillan is, too.

If we're lucky enough to get Malik Jefferson, he's an early enrollee, too.

Interesting. This was the guy Texas 'encouraged ' to look around.

Think it's the opposite. He wants to play receiver, not running back.

He's primarily looking at schools that run spread offenses: A&M, Auburn, Oregon, etc.

Same thing with McGinnis, right? Doesn't he play more 3-4 DE ?

He'd be a project, and I've read wants to go OOS.(from Texas)
Think he's got 4 to play 3 , as he was a full qualifier out of HS.
Pettigrew, 2016 TE from St. Aug, OFFERED. Did not commit .
The Texas event, 'under the lights' (don't call it Friday night lights ) is this Friday the. 18th.

The reason you offer a JuCo is you are certain he is SEC -ready, since he only has two years of playing.

But this guy is supposed to have 3 to play 3, not the standard JUCO 3 to play 2.
Per OrangeBloods by way of ShaggyBevo, Texas's Joe Wickline offered Shipley as an OL last week:

Texas offered Marble Falls prospect Hanner Shipley as an offensive lineman late last week. While the 6-foot-3, 270-pounder was honored to get that offer, it doesn’t sound like he’ll follow in the footsteps of his cousins – Jordan and Jaxon Shipley – by heading to the Forty Acres. “Coach [Joe] Wickline offered me last week,” said Shipley. “Honestly it doesn’t really matter though because I won’t go there. I won’t even visit. I’ve been there a thousand times since I’ve been eight years old.” “I want to play big time ball in the SEC,” he added. “I want to help LSU win the national championship.”

Another poster later claims to have seen a quote from him on 247 saying he'll play wherever LSU asks:

Wasn't he just at 'Boys from the Boot' ?

Agree. Kid is either not too bright or an arse. He must not want LSU too bad if he actually said that. Punk

Dude, the OP implied that the kid mentioned Saban only after he was asked what schools he was interested in. Slow your roll. He wasn't (allegedly) disrespecting anyone.
