Ranked 7 among RB recruits this year, 7 spots higher than Etienne. Good size and speed, 4.4 40
Un-committed, Ole Miss looks to be the only real player. Why not make a late push?
He was once committed to Clemson (trade), and from Tennessee (we're deep there this year)

Next year's RB haul is a lot of smaller fast backs, we need to build depth.

There has been some shady stuff reported at Trezevant HS in Memphis where he goes. Some Clemson fans insist the they started to distance themselves from him, and that's why he decommited. I don't know if that's true, though.
We all know Hugh Freeze is running Last Chance U Part 2 up there. That's why they're in on him. Even with the NCAA at the door, he doesn't give a shite about taking a potentially rotten apple.
I don't know if this kid is bad news. Just that the cloud from the investigation into his school is following him. Probably not worth a spot. We see how grade issue guys and JUCO stashed haven't worked out for us lately. This guy may not be eligible when all is said and done.

AJ Davis is another four star ranked number 19 from Lakeland, Fl who still hasn't committed that we could also offer. Although I prefer Cordarrian Richardson because he is from Mississippi.

He's from Hattiesburg. Having lived here for two years I've learned that this region has no loyalty to any particular school; an equal mix of LSU, Bama, State and Ole Miss. it's not like trying to pull a kid from Clinton (Jackson) like Akers which is heavily Ole Miss favored.

I don't see why he should suffer from things out of his control at his school. He looks to be an excellent prospect. His twitter name is savage for crying out loud, perfect fit.

Richardson is out of Memphis. Franklin is from South MS.

I dont think you are understanding. Think of this more like the kid is not going to make the grades required to get into college. Like he doesnt have the best gpa. He will have to go JUCO

Well, why should Valentine, or Brandon Martin, either? They all did, we wasted time on them, and neither ended up contributing. Valentine made it back and washed out and Martin ended up signing with Arkansas after we wasted a spot on him even though he was a JUCO guy.
I'm just saying that these guys that come with grade risks or baggage haven't worked out in our favor recently.

Not sure how true but there is a rumor going around that Franklin hasn't gotten the offer yet because he is a grade risk. Just rumors again for all I know O could have said come camp this summer and we can get you an offer.
