I grew up in the 70’s and thought being in the title hunt every year was normal. I was too young to understand how lucky I was to have experienced it. This time around I didn’t make that mistake. I enjoyed every year of it knowing that one day it would end. When people would ask me what are you goin...
If you ask me what I had for lunch on any given day later that same day I have to do mental gymnastics and create a time line in my head
This is the kind of thing that happens to me, but I don’t see it as a memory issue. I think it’s more of a “it’s not important” thing. I still re...
Still a great season. Oats is an amazing coach. Eventually we will break through…..right?
I don’t know if we will break through. I like Oats but his philosophy has to change. A D that can challenge the 3 with a rim protector will always give us problems. We ignore the middle of the...

re: Are you awake for surgeries?

Posted by Mr Reese on 3/20/23 at 6:33 pm
I’ve had two elderly female relatives have orthopedic surgeries. One knee replacement and one hip replacement. Both had memory loss issues after the surgery. Not over time, but immediately after surgery. It only got worse from there. I’ve had friends that have had the same experience in their family...

You could create a trust and have an attorney go collect the winnings as the representative of the trust. Get a p o box for the trust for any mail from the lottery. Set yourself up as the only beneficiary of the trust. This way your name isn’t tied to it. But if you want to live the lottery winner ...
The barn has Pearl and Freeze. I wouldn’t care what the SEC thinks about it. ...
Teachers are big on pointing out that they work some nights and weekends. Big deal, a lot of salaried employees do. If you bring up the time off in the summer, they are quick to tell you they aren’t paid for that. So when they quote the starting pay as per year they’re not telling the truth. The $4...
Why did they name a Special Counsel to look into Jan 6 a few days after Republicans took control of the House? It’s an attempt to keep the video and testimony to the committee under wraps. Could make for a good legislative versus executive branch legal battle. ...
It was a bad call. But if we kick, LSU would have gone for two on their last TD. If they make it, we’re in the same situation. ...
What about a torn labrum? He would be done for the year, but isn’t that a possibility ?...
High School is where you will start to see how far they can go. For most, high school is it. The best H S players can move on to some level of college sports. If you know coaches in H S are game planning around your kid, they are probably going to play some level of college. If your kid is a freshma...
Huntsville’s metro is 490k vs Birmingham’s 1.1 million. With Shelby County’s consistent growth, I don’t see Huntsville catching Birmingham any time soon.
Birmingham metro area has 7 or 8 counties while Huntsville only has 2. Let Huntsville add every county that touches Madison Cou...

I would have to look that up Monday. All I’ve done is dropped the scanned file in a share point folder and it gets done from there. I think it’s an office suite program. ...

Where I work (auditing), we are training an AI program to take scanned invoices and put the information from it in a spreadsheet. It’s getting really good at it. The more we use it, the better it gets. ...
Have you had Covid recently? I went through this after having Covid in January. It started a week or two later. The urge to go would come out of nowhere and it was urgent. The first week or so was really bad. Then I went through a phase where I would ignore it and the feeling went away. It would co...
“Are/were you listening to what I just told you?”
My ex would ask this when I was watching something and I would repeat what she said while still watching. That made her madder than me not listening. Just one of many ways I could never win. ...
