Ordered a blue NATO strap for the blue face Citizen Automatic. My wife wants to wear it and I don’t want to remove/add links whenever she wears it and I wear it.

I don’t correct them.
As not being a “tremendous timepiece”, it was $650 new ($300 used). I know it’s not a highend watch, but it’s a damn well built watch with some of Citizen best works in it.

Watch fashion question - Is it a faux pas to wear a diver with a suit? I’ve seen some people say it’s a no-no. A diver is not a dress watch. They say it’s like wearing white after Labor Day.

A little debate we having at work.
Let’s say you go to the casino with $500 in your pocket. You hit a $1000 jackpot on the first spin of a slot. You now have $1500.
You gamble it back, walk out the casino with $600 in your pocket.
Did you win $100, or lose $900?
Same as betting on line, say you bet $100 on Saturday, hitting a few games, winning $500. You don’t take the winning off the app. On Sunday, you lose it all, balance zero.

My recent pick up. A Soviet-made works, 17J Cornavin Pentaflex with a Pinwheel second hand display.
I didn’t like the cheap Speidel bracelet, so I ordered a couple replacements. The lugs are only 18mm, so even these replacements look too small for this case. I just ordered an adapter to go from 18mm to 22mm, and an another stainless bracelet.

My newest vintage pick up off FB.
1995 Seiko Kinetic. Band has been cut so it’s a little tight on my wrist, and damn near impossible to find a OEM replacement.

Decided to keep the Mido automatic. Put it in a wide band, to kind of mimic Brad Pitt’s Citizen Bullhead from “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood”

There are several items at the Family Mart and 7-11, that out shine nearly every fast food item in the US.
I know a lot of people just don’t like egg salad, but I could live on the Japanese egg salad sandwich at either store.

The chicken patty is at the check out counter, clerk has to get it for you. In front of the hot box (where the chicken patties are located), there are buns prepackaged.
The “shirt” Godzilla is wearing in my OP, it the package the clerk puts the patty into.

Not sure where else they are available around the world, but the Famichiki at Family Mart in Japan is the greatest chicken sandwich.

I sold my two 14kt gold watches last week for $1500, to put towards my Omega. I paid $600 for the pair.
