I am not sure why Hollywood thinks this is a genre that needs farming. . .

Must be crazy cheap

They're pretty much all horror comedies and I imagine cheap. Also I have to imagine they're fun to make.

but that same threat (killing FISA during a war) can be levied on Thune right now over an issue that polls 90/10 in favor. Those Intel agencies Bunk speaks of should be taking Thune into a SCIF right now. It's on his head. Not the GOP of the House.

Wait...what? That is not how this will work or be understood by voters.

I understand this is how you WANT them to see the issue, but the country will separate the two issues.
quote:

I don’t believe either party broadly wants to end FISA.

I don't disagree with you.

It's too risky to be the party who killed FISA if a terror attack happens.
You think the GOP is going to risk being blamed for terror attacks due to a questionably supported war, in an election year?

Because if they kill FISA and a terror attack happens, they will be blamed for it.

Again, and I hate FISA, so I hope it dies, but I don't believe they are sincere at all

Then it sounds like they'd better pass the SAVE Act, huh?

They're bluffing.

Has an Irian terror cell or terrorists ever committed an act of terror on U.S. soil? I don't remember.

They're going to cite the guy who was going to try to assassinate Trump, but that's stretching "Terror cell"

I don't think any have been successful unless you include acts against Iranian expats/dissidents.
Trying to threaten FISA is not going to be a +EV move with this war going on and pols like Ted Cruz warning of sleeper cells in the US

*ETA: I hate FISA and think it should be repealed I just know they're not sincere about this with the war going on
Thank you for giving me ideas to add to the LPM (with included CRM) I'm vibe coding currently.

Russia is busy with the idiot in Ukraine.

Probably wondering where they are going to get oil as well.

Wait Russia is wondering where they're going to get oil?
The Palestinian Christian I know is Arab, obviously, and has said the meanest and worst things about Muslims from anyone I've ever heard or read
I think it's as much due to OpenAI's issues. I don't think they're a viable long-term plan, and the primary long-term support for OpenAI was...MSFT. Kind of circular.
Yeah I don't know enough guys from the ME to know the differences. The ones I know are mostly Lebanese and claim that ethnicity. I grew up with an Iranian and know a Palestinian Christian. I don't know the intricacies of these hyper-specific ethnicities from the past they claim. It's somewhat foreign to me, even as an Italian (I can claim all sorts of random ancient ethnicities).

I thought her parents were Lebanese?

Tomato tomato, basically, but on her old website she posted about how she was Assyrian, a designation I didn't think had existed for over 1000 years, so I always mention it.

Apparently it's a thing

Alina Habba: Trump's Assyrian Lawyer

quote:

Alina Habba's parents are from Iraq and belong to the Chaldean-Assyrian community. They came to the United States in the early 1980s because they wanted to escape problems and make a better future for their family.

Alina grew up in a home where her family's culture was very important. She learned to love and respect her Chaldean-Assyrian heritage.

It will be for the ones that get popped ahead of schedule. They were here waiting on specific activation orders that aren't going to come on their preferred timeline. Now if they move, it'll be on a hurried basis, which will lead to mistakes and more often than not - being apprehended before they can hurt anyone.

Watching you constantly describe the crazy fantasy world that you live in is like reading a trashy airport novel...for free
