Multiple sources are reporting that Texas safeties coach Blake Gideon is expected to be named defensive coordinator at Georgia Tech.
Gideon played safety at Texas from 2008 to 2011, starting in 52 games, and has coached there since 2021.
He was the special teams coordinator at Ole Miss in 2020 and the special teams coordinator and safeties coach at Houston in 2019.
