According to The State, former South Carolina head coach Steve Spurrier has donated his final check which is worth more than $70,000 to the Gamecock Club.

Former South Carolina coach Steve Spurrier returned his final payment from the school, a check for more than $70,000, to the Gamecock Club in the form of a donation, a source told The State on Tuesday.
Spurrier announced his resignation from South Carolina on October 12 and will be replaced by former Auburn DC and Florida head coach Will Muschamp.
